On the Street....The Boys Department, New York

Marykate's very cute sweater is Crewcuts for boys.
Garance just shops in my closet (and by "in my closet" I mean the green shorts, not the heels!)

Love both of these. Great to see Garance in action, too :)

I've shopped in my dad's closet for sweaters and ties. Sometimes men's clothing has that twist, feature or colour way that one just won't find in women's wear.

And all I can say is that Garance is very lucky to have a man's closet that is worth stealing from. All I've ever had the choice of was mouldy jeans and t-shirts covered in bits of plaster and paint (don't date a builder if you want to nick clothes...)

I love both looks! Both looks are somewhat classic yet with a modern spin - by adding a bit of menswear (or in the case of the sweater, "boys wear," I suppose), these sophisticates strike the perfect style balance.

It's kinda funny cause I'm short and small, so I always buy my blazers and jackets at boys department cause they fit wayyyy better than the womens smallest size! And this weekend I went into my boyfriend's closet and said "I need shorts!!!" So I took a great pair of khakis that I definetly dont intend on giving back!
