Mon Dieu!

Blogger Klever Girl said ... (9:12 AM) :

Talk about body language! His arms crossed across his chest indicate a boundary between the two. That he's "not" interested, yet the bitting of the lower lip....complete Oh and she's wearing a lovey watch wonder who makes it.

Klever :D

Blogger Barbora said ... (9:23 AM) :

Interesting..He surely is a charmer:)
"fashionably tasteful.have a bite"

Anonymous Simona Hulber said ... (9:24 AM) :

I like much the colours combination! A really businees attitude.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:24 AM) :

how cute is he?!

Blogger MissMeliss said ... (9:28 AM) :

I think I am in love..

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:38 AM) :

Blogger Caddy said ... (9:43 AM) :

He definitely looks like a charmer! :)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:46 AM) :

He is Matteo Marzotto, former Ad of Valentino. A very charming and always well dressed guy.

The watch is a Toy watch.

Blogger VoulaVous said ... (9:52 AM) :

i'm a sucker for a charmer, and one that bites his lip? look out me! great, charming & stylish image. thank you. i am in love...again today...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:52 AM) :

isn't he italian???? are you in Paris????

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:56 AM) :

Defensive, as it's media, but warming to the interrogation ... :)

How the tie echoes the shirt - well executed. But a shade lighter with the jacket: this navy v black combo doesn't click.

Blogger Steven T said ... (10:01 AM) :

Great combination of fabric, colour and patterns. I want that suit.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:03 AM) :

I'd prefer a monochromatic tie to go with that shirt.

Blogger Gary said ... (10:08 AM) :

Ha, what a catch ! Le charmeur en flagrant délit. Great pic !

Blogger Dusk said ... (10:13 AM) :

Oh dear! I can see why this is visually very arresting For me, not a charmer. More... Patrick Bateman...complete with attention to sartorial detail.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:16 AM) :

Matteo Marzotto ;-) a very stylish man

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:22 AM) :

the right smile and look. Knows exactly how to capture his audience!

Blogger thwany said ... (10:32 AM) :

yes, indeed

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:43 AM) :

His suit is such a crisp blue that it pops from the screen (against the neutral background! Her watch is kinda cool (what kind is it, anyone know?). Great color symphony with his suit, shirt and tie.

Is he blushing? He might have been posed a question that he did not want to answer. Great picture, Sart.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:52 AM) :

oddio matteo!!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:56 AM) :

Matteo: top of style ever!

Blogger The Sluice Box said ... (11:03 AM) :

Meticulous attention to detail and fit...can't help but think this tells us a bit about the man.

Blogger V.V. said ... (11:08 AM) :

biting his lip, and his look like he's gonna eat her right now, makes him a real charmer...Don't really lik his tie-shirt combination but the pic itself shows the personality, good catch!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:15 AM) :

Anonymous Christian said ... (11:26 AM) :

Sorry, but today I am dressed much better than him!

Blogger Couture Coco said ... (12:14 PM) :

Yeah, cute but oh dear his shirt and tie combo is hurting my eyes! Urgh!

Blogger Kazuki Yamada said ... (12:28 PM) :

The red stripe is cool!

Blogger Coco and Zaahb said ... (12:31 PM) :

There is so much that one can read from this photo but its clear that he is a "charmer", love it

Anonymous Jonrah said ... (12:59 PM) :

Ay Dios Mio! I love a man who can dress well and look so comfortable!

Blogger Courtney said ... (1:07 PM) :

Ugh, so handsome, but I still see him as a villain after Valentino: The Last Emperor.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:13 PM) :

The reporter is wearing my watch...a ToyWatch Jelly!

Blogger Roxy Te said ... (1:30 PM) :

Mon dieu is right! You must stop posting pictures of gorgeous European men..swoooon.

Blogger GiGi said ... (2:49 PM) :

What is it about a man biting his lower lip that drives a girl insane? Plus, he looks fabulous!

Blogger bibi said ... (2:54 PM) :

enough!!no way|!

Anonymous princess glee said ... (3:27 PM) :

Matteo Marzotto wasn't painted in such a good light in the Valentino film. However, what I got from the film is the filmmaker's bias after falling in love with Valentino the man and Valentino the house. I'd be curious to see how a man like MM, capable of such great style and modernity lends his fashion and style stuff to Valentino. I think he'd do well.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:27 PM) :

I took this a totally different way.
Isn't the charmer the girl with the microphone?
Isn't the girl with the microphone Garance?

Oh the intrigue!!!!

Blogger kahartland said ... (4:01 PM) :

ohmygosh why does he look so..familiar? this is gonna drive me crazy!

Blogger FASHION SNAG said ... (4:20 PM) :

He looks like a charmer for sure and he does look very familiar as other people have said. I love the way you captured his teeth biting into his lower lip.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:24 PM) :

how do you get that knot for the tie? is it there a name for it? cheers

very waspy, its great!

Anonymous Pia said ... (5:18 PM) :

I don't get the comments about the 'closed' body language just because one has one's arms crossed. I stand like that all the time - more comfortable for me - and I'm not closed at all. It's just a preference.
He is gorgeous!!! Love the blog! I print out many of the pics as inspiration.

Anonymous fashionsdirtylaundry said ... (5:50 PM) :

It's all in the eyes.

Blogger michelle said ... (7:05 PM) :

sup hottie

Blogger Beth Lee said ... (9:11 PM) :

He is not french...sure!!!

Blogger Punctuation Mark said ... (10:35 PM) :

Mr Marzotto... you always look great... congrats!

Blogger Unknown said ... (12:50 AM) :

Dayummm,he's gorgeous. The tie and shirt combo not so much.

Anonymous Customize t-shirts said ... (4:04 AM) :

He is looking in very good mood. But he is looking very cute in this dress. Specially the color combination of his shirt and tye is is looking awesome.

Anonymous Mavì said ... (4:39 AM) :

absolutely fascinating

Anonymous denparser said ... (4:42 AM) :

He's really a good looking person with that outfit and smile.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:59 AM) :

That lower lip biting... he's a charmer alright! The shot captured a fantastically nice flirtatious expression.

Blogger Lou said ... (10:19 AM) :

He is irresistible, magnetic, fly.

Blogger SMII said ... (10:37 AM) :

This gent is always impeccably dressed. Love the collar height and shape.

Blogger secret38 said ... (11:27 AM) :

now your gorgeous european man featured in a moment with a woman - how fabulous - more please!

Anonymous Ben said ... (11:49 AM) :

I think that is the guy that owns "Valentino."

Blogger viejecita said ... (12:41 PM) :

Why has nobody made a comment about his beautiful, and bautifutty groomed fingers and nails ?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:16 PM) :

It's Garance interviewing him,no? Please post a picture of her with her new straight hair! Thanks :)

Blogger Alessandra Santos said ... (8:51 PM) :

Oh, God!! He´s handsome!!!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:08 PM) :

rings the bell???
I cannot believe nobody knows who he is...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:01 AM) :

molto bold statement, the jacket almost overpowers the tie / shirt statement, yet his pose and emotions carry him. His arms might be making a wall, it's actually more like a challenge to the lady, his eyes are challenging her to seduce him.

Blogger Unknown said ... (6:54 AM) :

Matteo Marzotto, my sartorial GOD! I wish there was a blog solely devoted to him. He is magnificent.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:20 PM) :

Reminds me of Marcello from La Dolce Vita...

Blogger Deafkid said ... (3:45 AM) :

to be honest i was more focused on the reporter's watch...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:53 AM) :

Very elegant

Blogger Eve said ... (11:18 AM) :

Hi clothes show so much personality, even a boldness to put the shirt and tie together. I bet he smells nice too.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:42 AM) :

I don't like her watch. The design of this kind of watches is stolen from Rolex and other big brands.

Blogger Ana Laura said ... (4:42 PM) :

I've just searched for Mateo Marzotto on the net, and just came to the following conclusion: you really are a great photographer, an make this shot of him in a way that he looks much better than he looked in all other photos I saw.

Anonymous HONEYBEEANDME said ... (9:30 PM) :

Anonymous StyleMadeSimple said ... (10:22 PM) :

Love the mixing of stripes. First, it was mixing black and navy, now mixing patterns. What’s fashion rule will we break next?
Check out: to ask about your style dilemmas!

Anonymous Sophie said ... (10:34 PM) :

Excuse me while I look for my jaw as it just dropped to the floor and rolled across the room.

I was in Paris with a friend this past week (looking chic just in case we ran into Mr. Schuman... sadly that did not happen, haha) and my friend and I were awed by all the men who looked so sharp running around the city. I need to move to Europe :D

Blogger Diane said ... (2:25 AM) :

This man look amazing :X...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:56 AM) :

he's more of a player type...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:15 PM) :

if there ever was a cliche about Italian men...

Blogger Diana Brito said ... (6:02 PM) :

LOVE that biting lip thing...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:23 PM) :

Goodness. Be still my heart.

Blogger Krishna said ... (9:13 AM) :

I love the way the stripes on his tie fall from left to right - it's unusual. He somehow manages to mix stripes - brave - and oh so successful!

Anonymous Torinostyle said ... (10:13 AM) :

I love this combination shirt and tie; simply perfect!

Anonymous maria jose said ... (1:06 PM) :

He is one man very very charmer. The mouth is beautifull; the clothes too. I love it!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:49 PM) :

the lips.

Blogger RaeRae said ... (7:35 PM) :

He looks like he could be Garance's brother =)

Oh yes love the guy too :)
