Daring, subtle, superb!

Those shoes and tights really shouldn't go together but its a stroke of genius as it looks amazing. Would love to see what she was wearing under the coat.

Blogger San said ... (1:00 PM) :

Marvelous tights, but the shoes are obviously not made for walking.

I love her hair.

She's the one who can mix two different animal print happy ending.

Love her!

Anonymous YYZ said ... (1:09 PM) :

Okay, I would ABSOLUTELY break my "only one item of leopard print at a time" rule if I could do it with this much panache and elegance!

Maybe I'll try it.... :)

Anonymous Chris said ... (1:09 PM) :

What elegance! I really like the combination of bracelets to add a bit of color to the otherwise monochromatic look, excluding the wonderful bag of course.

Blogger Alice Olive said ... (1:11 PM) :

Tall, lean and lovely.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:18 PM) :

no one else on the street will have this same look on - amazing. and somehow, it works.

Blogger dirty diana said ... (1:27 PM) :

Blogger Christina said ... (2:16 PM) :

That coat is one of the most amazing things I have ever seen. haha :)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:20 PM) :

This is fabulous! Leopard and leopard together? Delightful!

Blogger Joy Mars said ... (2:21 PM) :

That's the best pic of Giovanna you've had on the blog so far. She usually wear stuff that cuts her shape up. Here her tall lankiness shows and it really looks chic.

Her hairline which usually seems unattractively low looks perfect here. She should keep that style.

The shoes and tights are awesome.

Wearing red with camel reminds me of a chance meeting I had with Ru Paul one day when he was in his male persona. He was wearing a camel colored suit with soft red loafers. Fabulous!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:21 PM) :

So few women would be able to pull this off. Giovanna, you are blessed!

Blogger Dania Padron said ... (2:27 PM) :

She's always an impecable dresser. Who knew leopard tights and shoues could look so well paired with each other.

Her Fendi bag is the icing on the cake.

Blogger st. valentine said ... (2:27 PM) :

Wow! Nearly any kind of stocking and shoe would go well with that coat, but the leopard-on-leopard is so gutsy. I wonder where the coat is from? And the bag, natch

Blogger Stevermer Company, Inc, said ... (2:29 PM) :

i just love this blog

Blogger Alessia Style said ... (2:33 PM) :

I like so much the bag..
Leopard on leopard doesn't convince much me..

Blogger Myra said ... (2:41 PM) :

Amazing! I love everything about this look~~~

Blogger Renae said ... (2:45 PM) :

who would have guessed that two different leopard prints could look so fantastic together? The camel coat and red bag pull it together. Amazing!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:45 PM) :

I love all the shots of Milan, especially around Viale Piave. She must have been headed to a Dolce show with that gold invite in hand. I love the shot of Giovanna, but the camera doesn't always capture how much more stunning she is in person.

Blogger SabinePsynopsis said ... (2:46 PM) :

Really don't know much about her but she definitely is on my list of most stylish women ever (and I have a feeling she only smiles for you, Garance and maybe 1 or 2 other photographers).

Anonymous T H E F A T T A C K said ... (2:47 PM) :

I don't know why but she reminds me Joanna from Brazil.
Would we see more about Joanna in a future? I love she.

Blogger C. said ... (2:47 PM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:54 PM) :

its so cool. I love that she's wearing such a modest coat with full cheetah underneath.
She's got a great look.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:00 PM) :

Missed Giovanna! Wow, those tights and shoes are incredible together.

Blogger SILVIA GIRÓN said ... (3:03 PM) :

Anonymous Kat said ... (3:03 PM) :

Surprisingly I love the leopard tights + heels combination. Such a lovely outfit, the leopard print adds so much character. Great photo.

Blogger Justine said ... (3:06 PM) :

ahhh! i love the tights and heels together!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:09 PM) :

amazing tight, shoe combo! lovely.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:09 PM) :

Leopard with camel work great but please avoid both the shoes and tights in leopard as it actually undermines the beauty of the shoes.
I love leopard print! However, it so difficult to wear it properly and it's one of those accessories, which everyone should be very careful with what they combine with.

Blogger Unknown said ... (3:09 PM) :

ooh, fabulous!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:10 PM) :

So Moviestar-esque!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:12 PM) :

Btw, the shoes and the tights with that bag colour are just a big mistake to be put together in one outfit!
I usually adore her style but this just not at all how I have personified Giovanna.
In my opinion, this is more being fashionable without keeping the personal style!

Blogger Copious Couture said ... (3:12 PM) :

leopard on leopard!!! so gorgeous!!!!

So elegant…the whole look is just fantastic

Anonymous Natasha said ... (3:21 PM) :

wow this outfit is great, even though the matchy matchy print on the shoes and tights wouldn't usually work, they look beautiful with that coat and bad-leopard print and red never fails :)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:25 PM) :

yes..curious what's under the coat...great stockings

Blogger The Shitty Astrologer said ... (3:29 PM) :

One word....Fabulous!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:31 PM) :

You would not expect the shoes and tights to go so well, Yet it does. Would have loved to see what she was wearing underneath the coat.

Blogger Chris Wolfgang said ... (3:37 PM) :

Okay, she looks great (love the coat) but is she seriously planning on walking very far in those deathtrap heels?

Blogger Ayşe Şakarcan said ... (3:41 PM) :

Wonderfull, can't take my eyes of her:)

Blogger courtpiss said ... (3:50 PM) :

LOVE this!!! wish i could wear heels.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:55 PM) :

where to get the leopard tights? Anyone knows? I'm drooling over this combination. Incredible!

Blogger mph said ... (4:03 PM) :

Have a similar pair of stocking which only made me look like I have a disease when I put them on. But on Giovanna - yeeeesh - that woman can pull off most anything, can she?!

Blogger Nedda Ebo said ... (4:05 PM) :

Wow how well does she pull this off? Very confident! And I love those shoes (they look awfully uncomfortable though).

Blogger Barbora said ... (4:14 PM) :

I absolutely love her! She has amazing sense of style and the funny thing is, it looks so natural on her. Like she doesn't need to try hard. She should be new Editor-in-Chief of Vogue US. That's it:)

Blogger Dusk said ... (5:39 PM) :

Purrfect!! Love the shoes, the tights, the heels, the tights with the heels (oh genius!), the bracelets, the watch, the bedhair, that "oh you caught me" expression.

Blogger Brigadeiro said ... (5:40 PM) :

I'm always eager to see what Giovanna is wearing 'next', and she never disappoints, this outfit is stunning! (even though I'm not a fan of animal print)

Blogger Lemon for breakfast said ... (5:52 PM) :

she's soooo stylish! always, evrywhere! :)

Anonymous Gin said ... (5:52 PM) :

she's my fav!!!!! <3

Blogger Sophisticated Misfit said ... (5:53 PM) :

ok, leopard on leopard. I get it. let's move on. there's more in the pic than animal print.

Two things I like and two I dislike are the following:

I like her bag and her watch.
I dislike, the rastafarian-like bracelets and her hairstyle.

She's obviously going for a sophisticated look; her hair and bracelets detract from the presentation.

Anonymous EFM said ... (5:58 PM) :

Very trendy look yet casual...

LOVE THE leopard on leopard!!!

Blogger Vicky Butera said ... (6:16 PM) :

Blogger k2butter said ... (6:42 PM) :

Not many people could pull this look off... she does it so well...

Blogger Eryl said ... (6:52 PM) :

Polished, original and slightly destabilising: artistry.

Blogger bird of light said ... (7:12 PM) :

The Real deal.. her slenderness & grace combined.. with what appears to me, as a juxtaposition of a demure and easy to wear camel coat with such shocking (or difficult..) accessories - truly breathtaking.

Blogger Susan B said ... (7:17 PM) :

Wow, wow, wow. The leopard tights and shoes are genius. It works because the pattern in both is about the same size. And the camel coat....sheer elegance!

Blogger Susan B said ... (7:19 PM) :

For those who have asked about the bag, think it's a Fendi "peekaboo."

Blogger charles said ... (7:30 PM) :

totally stunning.

Blogger Rock Couture said ... (7:32 PM) :

OMG those leopard tights

Blogger Unknown said ... (7:42 PM) :

Well she's a real Italian lady, no doubt about it. And the combination of the leo-print tights and shoes - pure perfection! It looks so classy, which is not always the case with leo I would say...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:42 PM) :

Pattern matching gone wrong... Don't they teach you how to match patterns on "What Not To Wear"

Blogger Chiara said ... (7:48 PM) :

Divina. Love the leopard collant on leopard shoes.

Blogger Kathleen said ... (7:50 PM) :

She is glorious! So slim and elegant. I love the leopard sandals and tights. Her coat is gorgeous, hair perfect, fantastic sunglasses, and her bag is the perfect accent color, red. Love the touch of informal bracelets, a great compliment to her outfit.

Anonymous edinamonsoon said ... (7:50 PM) :

I agree, tres fierce. Tres chic.
And love the coral handbag for a pop of color.

Blogger The Fashion Gatherer said ... (8:04 PM) :

It's one of those looks you want to emulate because it is so effortlessly cool in the most unique way!

Blogger Unknown said ... (8:04 PM) :

eh...not so much. it really doesn't go well together. however, the cut and pleats of the coat are elegant--drastically undershadowed by the cheetah on cheetah.

Anonymous Jessica said ... (8:13 PM) :

The tights, the shoes, the coat are all beautiful, but it's her posture that catches me most. Slightly slouched and terribly elegant.

Anonymous Julian said ... (8:21 PM) :

i absolutely love her tights and her shoes! Oh wow xox!

Blogger Prutha Raithatha said ... (8:58 PM) :

love the tights and the shoes... maybe separately even more...but shes always stunning

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:30 PM) :

Meow! I love it--gorgeous woman, gorgeous bold outfit. I have a humble suggestion for your blog. I'd love a search function, so if I see a particular woman whose style I adore (like Giovanna, or Olivia), I could run a search for inspiration from your other photos.

Blogger Jack Daniel said ... (9:46 PM) :

Her coat looks so nice.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:53 PM) :

I think you do the tights or the shoes but not both - seems a little overwhelming together. But hey its her style - so who am i to judge :)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:57 PM) :

so elegant.

Anonymous Lorenita said ... (10:04 PM) :

I usually adore Giovanna for simply being the inimitable Giovanna, with her amazing style as a secondary feature. This time though I recoiled. Am I the only one who hates the camel trend that seems ubiquitous on this site right now? Ugh! I hated it when it was big around 99, and even moreso now. And animal-print tights on such skinny legs just seem awkward - I can't help imagining that her legs are actually those of animals. From the neck up, though, amazing as always.

Anonymous KateSouth said ... (10:05 PM) :

I'm just going to join the chorus and say that she somehow makes the two animal prints work. Flawless and unique as usual!

Blogger roccodante said ... (10:32 PM) :

Groovy, baby just groovy, tights are funky and cool.

Blogger Unknown said ... (10:50 PM) :

Giovanna is flawless as usual. You must have confidence to wear animal print tights AND shoes. The red Fendi Peek-a-Boo bag is amazing.

Giovanna is the chicest, most stylish woman. On this planet. Ever.

Anonymous AnonymousJK said ... (11:06 PM) :

Again I ask: Has this woman ever had a bad fashion day?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:07 PM) :

Just when you think her style is over the top, she does it again and again....your photo of her is unreal....just gorgeous.....a real fashion icon with the best photographer.....thanks......L

Nice ensemble, she looks great in it, Jacky O. with a twist. And even better: fur without actual fur! Good fun.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:15 AM) :

Blogger CW said ... (1:04 PM) :

Her stockings and shoes are among the most striking pairings I've seen on your blog.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:39 PM) :

Oh, goodness, it's been awhile since I've seen a picture of her. I will never wear shoes like that but I'm delighted she is. The legs such a contrast to that little conservative coat. So Italian.

She's the very best. An inspiration. I have a file of your pictures of her.

Blogger Pargy said ... (1:45 PM) :

This outfit is D.E.V.I.N.E! Beautiful, but sturdy bag. check. Timeless & elegant coat, check. Totally inappropriate sunnies for this time of year, but who cares 'caus they're utterly fabby, check...and completely groovy leopard print shoes AND tights...way 2 go girl!!! Check. Check. Check.

Anonymous Meadow said ... (2:21 PM) :

Anonymous RunwayRevolution said ... (3:43 PM) :

My only question is this:
Is there ever a time when you decide it is best NOT to take her photo? I don't assume Giovanna owns a sweatsuit, but you must have seen her looking daggy or not quite so pulled together at least once, Scott?

Blogger Unknown said ... (3:32 AM) :

Giovanna... beautiful as always~!
