Very nice, not to girlie, down to earth I-know-my-ways statement (for me fashion is communication of identity, of how-I-feel-today and of context). I myself love capes (I still wear an old, dark grey yamamoto one dating back to 1996) with long gloves. The bag is a young interpretation of the Birkin. Just the Jeans, fine, young style, ok, but this new and destroyed chique is not mine. The shoes fit perfectly to the fashion statement.

I don't know if it's the fact that I'm headed home for break soon or that I just pulled an all nighter to get my lab report done, but this young lady reminds me of my sister. The lace-ups and the ripped/cuffed jeans are very similar to an outfit she has. My sister also has this kind of cute awkwardness where she's just learned how to walk in heels, and she'll balance herself just as this girl does with her toes pointed in. Lol. I completely agree - very well put together. Love the shoes and the bag - they work really well together. Not a huge fan of the torn jeans look - but it really works this time - brings in a bit of humour almost (along with the gloves).

I noticed you have a lot of chloe, LV and celine featured in your blog as well as others. I'm curious as to why no one else is covering more men's designers that have come out with their recent collections? Are they not as good or just not the all-the-hype right now?
I like the cape and shoes, not so much the jeans and gloves together. The cape is gorgeous though, and gives what is otherwise a rather bland outfit some punch.

I just can't get over the dubious appearance of a Birkin when I see those Mulberry bags, or, more lately, the spitting image of the Proenza PS1.
As a huge fan of being able to watch the trickle-down affect from high fashion to street fashion, I think it's misleading to package something unoriginal as a high fashion peice.
I would be a huge supporter of the brand if their prices were half as much as they are, but since they've placed themselves on the level of Hermes and Proenza, It lead me to wonder if they're trying to get away with anything quality-wise in the same way they are with their designs.
