Beautiful woman
Is that Marina Rust?
LOVE THE SCARF.
oh my!!! LOVE this jacket/coat.... the gloves - the scarf. Beautiful, retro chic.
I love the long leather gloves and cropped coat.
Very elegant .
So chic!
Looks great.
Short sleeves- long gloves: very elegant.
Beautiful and classic with some edge. The scarf and cut of the coat are lovely. Love those shorter bell sleeves on a coat paired with long gloves!
How did your talk go last night?
the scarf is wonderful!
gorgeous!
I must retell this short story. I was in the gym at the University of Maryland when I overheard a classmate recalling his weekend in Manhattan. "It's the best place on earth" he recounted. "The tail- Oh man, it's not like LA girls, man. They're... classy. And smart."
Thank you Sart for capturing these beautiful women that give our city its depth. Thank you women for giving our men something to work for.

Beautiful woman. Love the ease of her style.
The scarf wonderfully enlivens what would otherwise be a somewhat drab outfit.

I recently came across your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don't know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.

Quoi dire de plus, La Classe, elle est superbe !
yeah, the scarf is really interesting. love the color of it.
So comfy and cool. Love it!
Marina!
Love the scarf, her wind swept hair and her expression.
Marina Rust always looks great. Love the sleeves on her coat.
Looks like Redgrave, circa "Blow-Up."
Great Scarf

It's Anouk Aimée! She is young again!
love marina rust! beautiful coat+scarf
I love the shape of the coat, and the long gloves!
Great scarf: it livens up the outfit. I like the classical cut of the coat too. It feels like a modern version of an old Balenciaga shape...

She is always so beautiful. Love the coat and gloves.
love scarf and gloves!!

What a wonderful photograph of a beautiful and stylish woman. She is dressed in separates which has become a standard for me. I believe one can pull off a much richer look if you really know how to put them together. The flash of color, via her scarf, closes the deal. The scarf was a perfect way to bring out her delicate features with the dark hair and very little makeup. She doesn't need makeup, how fantastic is this? As I add to my Spring/Summer wardrobe piece by piece, you never fail to inspire me through these photographs. Thank you Scott!
She is stunning,
she is elegant,
she is close to perfect!!
i love the shortened sleeves paired with the gloves. very chic.
Curious about the shoes?? Love the look!
Stunning just stunning!It's just great!
Uptown Girl.
The scarf is the main cloth of the look, and the leather gloves!
xoxo
Wow, she's gorgeous and what a great expression she's giving the camera. And yeah, stylish too.
loving the different lengths and the subtle touch of color...

Absolutely lovely. Love the combination of the cape and handkerchief. The contrast is beautiful
that's it. i need to get me a good and colorful scarf.
I like that she demonstrates realistic and classic style. This look would be simple to pull off and is very versatile. Fantastic!
Love the scarf-adds just enough color to the look, but doesn't distract from it. Also the shorter coat sleeves are an interesting switch from a traditional winter coat.
I really ought to try cropped sleeves + long gloves.
Thank you Sartorialist for tasteful curation of style inspirations.
I like gray and gloves and colorful scarves. She looks good.
Some people really put effort into their dress. I mean, how else could that scarf have been tied in that manner.
Wow, she's beautiful. Outside and especially inside beauty.
beautiful scarf!!!!

She is channeling Jackie O in a major way. Very very classy. She can look at this picture in 20 years and have no regrets, no shame.
This goes to your piece about grace, Scott.
I believe this beautiful lady embodies it.
Love from VT
Marina Rust always oozes chicness! great layers - beautiful scarf! such a Park Ave look!
lovely scarf. makes her entire outfit sparkle.

Effortless and age appropriate.
Wind can make a great accessory.
She looks cold, but she is lovely.
Scarf and gloves are great.
Love Marina Rust in charcoals and pale greys. The burst of color is perfect...she knows exactly how to accentuate the contrast between her hair and her complexion.
Casual elegance. Perfect!

sophistically effortless.
I think I have a crush on this lady. Elegant, classy, with a twist. That's how I hope to be when I grow up! (although I could never pull off an outfit like this)
Upper East Side chic!
awesome coat, i love the bell sleeves!
Tres chic! I love this look -- timeless, beautiful, classic, modern.
This one is totally amazing !!

Love the scarf!
And the cropped sleeve on the coat that makes the gloves appear: genius!
Love how she is so elegant on the outside...yet underneath, she simply has on a gray t-shirt and jeans!
I love Marina! She is so beautiful and with great class and style.
oh my she's stunning. thank you again for demonstrating that age does not define beauty.
what class!
i truly love Being a WOMAN...
;)
Thank you for this! I now have my new style icon! Seriously! I'm poring over pics of her now. Exactly my taste. Love it - such elegance and class.
one word. elegant.
thats is seriously soo park ave
http://donotshoeme.blogspot.com/
style is so much more appealing when the shape of the body isn't the focus but key elements - gorgeous photo
www.jennykozlow.com.au
Love the scarf. Love the smile.
Is this Marina Rust? She looks gorgeous! So natural...
Nice shot - the scarf is just in the right spot to bring out the color in her eyes.
What a great scarf! So colourful and fun!
Oh my God - I love the way She looks!!!
How do I really adore - when classy, beautiful, chic woman looks like a LADY!!!
Sometimes, I do regret that women nowadays (often) forget about that - how adorable was Grace Kelly / Jackie Kennedy-Onassis way of feminine expression.... instead of showing all physical attributes and being focused on how to emphasise them all the time...
what a nice look, beautiful.
love the coat/jacket.
Love her, elegantísima...
Just perfect! Love it! And by the way, I came here for the 1st time a few days ago and what can I say? I became a fan. What a wonderful job you do! Hope someday you'll take some pics here in Portugal :)
She is gorgeous.
The scarf sums up her classy look! Finito!
It's a nice portrait, but I honestly can't see her outfit, other than the scarf. She's very attractive, but if we're talking fashion here, I need a clearer view. Not saying it's a bad pic, just that I can't see the clothes, accessories, etc.
She is a class act and lovely lovely lady. The hair, the coat and of course the scarf softens everything and some color and pattern (and movement to the photo!)
She looks so elegant and classy. The scarf puts a strong but soft accent onto her outfit, which consists of greys and blacks. Everything is well put together. From head to toe, it is chic!
I loveeeee the jacket!
So elegant. I want to be just like her when I grow up.
Excellence.
Tres chic! J'aime bien.
this woman has gorgeous eyebrows!
I love her scarf, it gives her the right amount of color she needs to her gray outfit :)
andrea
Her main accessories are the the light on her face, the warm look in her eyes and the elegant attitude!
Beautiful and elegant!!!! I aboslutely dore the scarf!!!
Every time I see Marina Rust I want to wear her hair: that roller-set-yet-messy bob. But it works on her alone.
So how did she tie the scarf? I tried doing this today with an enormous silk Delvaux scarf, and it just kept slipping out. Either it was tight and too small or big and poofy but constantly slipping apart. Does anybody have a link to a scarf-tying site?
Love it! Simple, but full of class!
She evokes the essence of Audrey Hepburn. Very few people achieve that. Simply fabulous!
love the coat and scarf
I love her kind eyes
very chic!!!!!
http://chicandtravel.blogspot.com/
Marina Rust -- the world's chicest woman.
And to all the Rachel Zoes out there, she's firstly chic because she's polite and friendly and lovely.
she has got kind eyes, hasn't she?
i adore marina rust connor. she really is the barbara paley of our time.
those are great gloves, especially paired with a bracelet-length sleeved coat.
Excellent!She's effordlessly elegant!
Deep class! Love it.
What a beautiful lady. This is refined elegance at its best
Very lovely!
beautiful scarf! now that's what a scarf is for -- lifts up a whole outfit which would have been dull otherwise.
