This girl is not me, but she looks like me. She even has an overcoat like mine ... and the long brown hair! Why must I endure such dismal invisibility in Australia? I should go and live in New York, where my look would be appreciated!

a gorgeous outfit!

Blogger davidikus said ... (5:11 AM) :

In the good olden days, the gentleman's advice to his son was: never mix dark blue and black, or any very dark colour with black for that matter.

She pulls it off very well, but I guess none of this advice applies since she is a Lady!

Blogger Unknown said ... (9:50 AM) :

Oh to be in NYC right now. Its starting to snow here again, just when I was pulling out blouses and lighter weight sweaters in the hope a miracle might occur. She is lovely from head to toe. Put together in a delicious mix of winter colors. I love her hat and blue bag. I love it all. She gives me hope that another six weeks of winter can't be so bad, can it?

Blogger Lou said ... (9:57 AM) :

She combines Ali McGraw's beauty with Annie Hall's quirky but all-American style. This is timeless. Intelligent. Lovely.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:53 AM) :

I jove the juxapostion of all those dark colours and layers, with such a warm come hither face. Great structure, great composition. This New York wears her looks so well.

Anonymous christine said ... (5:29 AM) :

i like her so much!!! she's so special!!!
ps: i want her coat!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:34 AM) :

Looked for months and I think I've discovered the source of her great hat. It looks like the "Scout Hat" from River Junction Trade Co. It's a 10X fur felt hat, not a bowler. It costs the moon, but I'm getting one for Christmas.
