Blogger Anastasia said ... (9:14 PM) :

she's lovely as the dramatic hair & lipstick colour against her outfit

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:19 PM) :

A strikingly attractive woman, woefully dressed in rags. Too bad.

Anonymous Dita said ... (9:22 PM) :

She looks like a painting. Her physical proportion and ease are ... surreal!

Blogger Michael Limaco said ... (9:29 PM) :

They say that after twenty years, fashion recycles itself. Am I seeing hints of early 1990's aka Marc Jacobs and the Seattle grunge scene? If she were only wearing Doc Martens!

Blogger Liv said ... (9:30 PM) :

Very cool look but on me those shoes would be more distressed than those jeans within twenty minutes.

Blogger Amy said ... (9:38 PM) :

The shoes really make the outfit

Blogger Marcia B. said ... (9:38 PM) :

oh la la i love this girl
so much spunk

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:38 PM) :

Blogger Krizia said ... (9:43 PM) :

wow this looks like a painting

Blogger jenisus said ... (9:46 PM) :

Wonderful how the COLOR white almost acts as a texture...

Blogger she-who-travels-with-camera said ... (9:49 PM) :

this exemplifies perfectly my favorite thing about Italian fashion: making the unthinkable work in such a elegant way that when you see it you think "of course! well that makes sense" and then only after you realize how bold (if simple) the ensemble might be..! I LOVE it.

Blogger Jack Daniel said ... (9:50 PM) :

The most down to earth lady on your blog.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:52 PM) :

Powerpuff Girl!!!she has stily, eveRithing sound perfect, the lipstick red, hair, the basic stily, and the feathers make contrast with her jeans destroyer!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:53 PM) :

so happy to see Mariacarla on your blog!

Blogger Tiantianchi said ... (9:55 PM) :

Look at those

Blogger MOD PAUL said ... (9:56 PM) :

Has a little S.J.P thing goin on. Cute.

Blogger Aileen said ... (9:56 PM) :

What a great contrast b/t the very simple, almost masculine clothes (the white tee, the ripped jeans) and the gorgeous, very feminine shoes)--fabulous

Anonymous Cloudy said ... (9:57 PM) :

WOW... just WOW

those shoes are so whimsical.... and the perfect shade of lipstick!

Blogger Kasie said ... (10:02 PM) :

I'm diggin the heels with the ripped jeans. I think I'm gonna try it.

Blogger Shelly said ... (10:08 PM) :

Wow, what striking facial features!

Anonymous Alison said ... (10:14 PM) :

Such contrast! Ethereal heels, blood red lips and delightfully tattered boyfriend jeans.

Who would of thought such a combo would work......bit it does.

Blogger FASHION SNAG said ... (10:16 PM) :

she is really rockin the boyfriend jeans better than anyone else i have seen!

Anonymous Tiffany said ... (10:17 PM) :

Cute shoes.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:17 PM) :

i really cant stand this ripped style of jeans that's coming back. however, i like the simple white tee and everything else. even though i hate the idea of ripped jeans, she makes it work..

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:19 PM) :

Mariacarla Boscono, how I miss you! You've been far from the catwalk, sweetie! XXX, Antonia Bourbon!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:20 PM) :

wow the shoes perfect the look! so effortlessly beautiful

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:28 PM) :

I never comment. But this is stunning, and deserving of praise.

Anonymous Serendipitous said ... (10:29 PM) :

Holy, man. Those shoes are amaaaaaaaaazing.

Blogger Cristi Silva said ... (10:45 PM) :

Oh wow! I truely truely love this look!

Blogger Viking said ... (10:46 PM) :

Look at that face. I don't care what she is wearing, she can never go wrong.

Anonymous Nadia said ... (10:53 PM) :

I'm not a fan of this look. It makes me think she just got home from Salsa dancing class and put on her painting clothes- but left the original shoes. Sometimes irony works, but I don't think so in this case.

Of course when you're that pretty, you can wear unattractive outfits and still look good.

Anonymous fod said ... (11:03 PM) :

love her battered jeans. she rocks!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:04 PM) :

love her jeans

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:05 PM) :

too cool

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:10 PM) :

i like this a lot! it works = )

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:13 PM) :

I love it. I love when simplicity makes you say wowwwwww.. Her shoes are banging too..

Blogger TERI REES WANG said ... (1:03 AM) :

Crazy like a fox who just raided the hen house, on her way to get the morning paper.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:08 AM) :

EDGY. and just look at those shoes!

Blogger Holly Brindley said ... (1:16 AM) :

i am SO glad she has not ruined it by over accessorizing.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:22 AM) :

the perfect white tee.

where to get it?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:25 AM) :

effortless is the one word that describes the people of milan

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:27 AM) :

OHoo lordy! great picture! killer shoes! :-O

Blogger Unknown said ... (1:38 AM) :

her body is actually perfect in carrying the whole outfit!! her posture is elegant ...the lady looks great!!

Blogger Sista said ... (1:44 AM) :

she could esily be botticelli's venus stepping out of the foaming sea shell..transpose feathers to sea foam and she is easily recognisable as the brasillian who outshines all the other brasillian "it girls"

Blogger Stjarna said ... (1:47 AM) :

Ohhh, amazing boyfriend jeans!!! love it

Blogger Richard said ... (1:59 AM) :

Love her toes !

Anonymous Kady said ... (2:01 AM) :

I'm jealous, because, at 5'6" with curves, if I tried to pull off this style I would look like a slob, but she pulls it off with flawless grace.

Blogger b said ... (2:05 AM) :

oh how i dore her shoes and ripped jeans :)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:07 AM) :

Gorgeous. those shoes are so beautiful.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:27 AM) :

I'm sorry but this is an example of how to make a woman "ugly"..she is dull and ugly in those jeans.
ugliness can be a price to pay to look "edgy".she is not beautiful in nature, why make it uglier?

Blogger hayleysherie said ... (2:33 AM) :

Oh I love this look! She looks like she just stepped off of Ralph Lauren's catwalk... I would totally wear everything in this picture

Blogger Joy Mars said ... (2:52 AM) :

I was going to say that anything would look good on her, but those shoes are completely off the charts!

I love their combination with the fringing tears on the jeans. The pastel colors echo the heavenly feathers.

Sart, you've done it again! This is why your blog is so successful!

Blogger C. said ... (3:01 AM) :

I love the feathery shoes!

Anonymous pauline/CHLOE said ... (3:06 AM) :

She's perfect, as always...

Blogger Emilie said ... (3:23 AM) :

Those shoes are amazing and I adore the jeans!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:28 AM) :

Thank you! I put on my boyfriend jeans with heels this summer and my French sweetie scoffed at me (true, those heels and jeans were nothing compared to Mariacarla's)--now, I can show him this photo and say "See? I actually was on to something!"...

She is gorgeous as always, as is the photo.

Blogger sofiasophie said ... (4:16 AM) :

Mama mia!
I'am jealous of her beauty, her splendid dark hair and red lipstick.....

Anonymous Camilla said ... (4:22 AM) :

I Love MariaCarla:
she rocks!
I'm not a fan of ripped jeans, and I think she looks best with a more natural shade for her lips - but hey, she can pull off anything!
Love the color palette and the shoes: bold!

Blogger Brigadeiro said ... (4:42 AM) :

Ah, love the simplicity & rawness of her outfit contrasted with those unreal & dreamy shoes! Gorgeous!

Blogger Laurence John said ... (4:49 AM) :

what she could do with that figure and face. i'm at a loss.

Blogger RECIEN LLEGADA said ... (5:02 AM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:07 AM) :

so many years, she's only on the top..

Anonymous Anastasia said ... (5:10 AM) :

Lovin' this look!Probably because I'm a huge fan of distressed/boyfriend denims at the moment:)..Very cool.

Blogger Miss Head Over Heels said ... (5:15 AM) :

She looks casual yet stylish.

Blogger Hanna Persson said ... (5:39 AM) :

I'm loving those jeans!

Blogger Manuel said ... (6:18 AM) :

every things on her is wonderfull.
¡thats shoes!
Tremenda Tremenda.............

Blogger David said ... (6:26 AM) :

Wow! Very sexy. She looks naked don't you think?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:37 AM) :

She is out of this world, but I have to disagree with most of yous guys about the shoes. I'd lose the feathers, now she looks like she's accidentally tripped over a white pigeon or a small dog with considerable force...Yikes!

Anonymous Whitney said ... (7:31 AM) :

I love her Balmain-ish jeans! More supermodel styles. They look even better when not in work!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:51 AM) :

Anon 2:27AM, you shouldn't be sorry about expressing your opinion. We are presented with street fashion which, in real life, is at the mercy of the public who in turn form their opinion about what they see. The brave speak their minds; the weak conform. If we are to gain a true understanding of the public's opinion then your own should be welcomed not castigated.

Personally I believe she's gorgeous in a down-to-earth Italian way which I find irresistible. I love everything about her except for her ultra-thin frame and her jeans which are a straight derivative of jeans worn by American Harley riders of decades gone by. The American biker look I find detestable hence by osmosis, her jeans should be trashed.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:11 AM) :

She is not "tripped over a pigeon",
she is Flying...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:15 AM) :

MariaCarla! Love her! she is soo funny and down to earth. And those jeans are just perfect.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:26 AM) :

im speechless. this may just be the first time an image has taken my breath away. theres just something about her simplicity mixed with the striking face and hair, and the casualty mixed with dramatic shoes and large rips. W-O-W!

Anonymous Catherine like Deneuve said ... (8:36 AM) :

The shoes are amazing, and they make the outfit, both by providing an extreme contrast with the clothes as well as by giving her a posture of a Disney fairy alighting on a flower. Are her fairy wings hidden behind her back?
The outfit works because she is so beautiful. It's a "don't try this at home" look. Holes in the jeans are horrid, unless they give a peekaboo at gorgeous gams. Plain white tee-shirt, whose sleeves don't even look finished? Yawn. The shoes and the lipstick are our cues that despite the very understated jeans/tee-shirt combo, she's no slob.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:38 AM) :

WOW When did her hair get so long!!

Anonymous The Photodiarist said ... (8:55 AM) :

I am not really a fan of ripped jeans. But with the delicate shoes, t-shirt and red lipstick, she looks stunning.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:01 AM) :

As I was scrolling down, I was thinking, "What......?". Until I got to the shoes.... Then it's another story.

Just goes to show, you can literally wear anything with style. And style is the key component.

Blogger Catherine Blair Pfander said ... (9:11 AM) :

oh yikes, total blam blam. what a fox!

Blogger Karen said ... (9:15 AM) :

casual chic with a subtle edginess. she's striking enough on her own that she can turn a rather simple outfit like this into an amazing look.

Blogger Unknown said ... (9:36 AM) :

absolutely fab!!
when you thought this kind of jeans where dead, she looks amazing on them.. I sort of like the shoes, and Id loose the feathers!! but everything else is beautiful! Im a jewelry freak, def would put something of this on::
I love her, in love with her and all she represents!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:37 AM) :

Finally someone who looks good in rolled up jeans!

Blogger LivingGolden said ... (9:38 AM) :

The shoes are fab, but totally ruin this outfit. With more relaxed shoes, this would be an A+. The shoes take it down to a B-. Just too dressy for those jeans.

Blogger Unknown said ... (9:50 AM) :

mrs. fantastic :)
she looks great...

Blogger Fashion By He said ... (9:52 AM) :

he loves this look

come check out the first ever fashion blog from a guys POV, let He know what you think

Blogger thecatbirdseat said ... (9:58 AM) :

this is the best i've seen anyone look in boyfriend jeans. i'm going shopping for some but i'll never look this good. love the giant knee hole and heels.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:03 AM) :

love this. effortless and fabulous.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:38 AM) :

I wish I could walk like that. Her whole body looks elegant and healthy.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:40 AM) :

Yeah!im going to buy a a jeans and nude shoes...After all beauty, and stily, she make me wish something like a jeans bf???she did so well!!!

Anonymous Charlotte K said ... (10:54 AM) :

The young woman is lovely, the shoes are very pretty and I just do not understand these kind of clothes at all.

I really wish someone would explain it to me. I guess I'm middle class and boring, but I admire many of the looks shown in the style blogs, and I understand that runway style is art, not necessarily wearable...but to me, these are just unattractive ill-fitting rags.

Anonymous Un samedi... said ... (11:22 AM) :

and for hers shoes: Helmut lang????

Anonymous Ave said ... (11:37 AM) :

at first I didn't get the clothes with the shoes, but somehow it works and for me I think it's because the feathers sort of mirror the tatters on the jeans. I had a pair of actual old holey jeans from my boyfriend and I threw them away- what was I thinking?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:44 AM) :

She is beautifull and her outfit is simple but really love teared jeans. Just wish, if shoes were without those feathers or what is that - somehow don´t like it. And some smile should be nice, I guess she got one really beautifull. Awesome photo, thanks for it. Pavel

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:21 PM) :

The SHOES...! Givenchy or "vintage" Helmut Lang?

Anonymous ckennedy said ... (12:41 PM) :

this woman is so sexy without even trying that it almost hurts, love her!!! <3

Blogger AONIE said ... (1:06 PM) :

Anonymous Xanax said ... (1:17 PM) :

Just Wow! But, I can never see a none model pulling this off. She's 5'10" and has model proportions, so she can get away looking amazing in this!

Anonymous Sophia said ... (2:07 PM) :

The t-shirt is a miss, the rest is pretty cool

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:39 PM) :

This is exactly how this look should be rocked. She balances the fem and masculine like she created that style combo.

Anonymous the_rose said ... (2:56 PM) :

Mariacarla is my favorite model! She is so gracefully posed. Perfect muse.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:29 PM) :

she's an incarnated angel who forgot to completely put away her wings

Blogger teresa said ... (3:39 PM) :

After seeing Eva at sunset and Mariacarla's unbelievably cool shoes, I'm going now to the fabric store for some feathers to put on myself.

This picture is just gorgeous. The model is lovely and so, so skinny which makes those jeans look so good. Love everything on her. Wish I looked like her.

Anonymous AnaPt said ... (4:21 PM) :

At first i look and i think: "normal" look, nice jeans, withe t-shit... but then the shoes just "kills" the look! wow love it! it just makes such difference!!

and the red lips, the final touch! =)

Anonymous sanmiguelense said ... (4:57 PM) :

Why can't we all be Italian?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:56 PM) :

look at her shoes! amazing...

Blogger theDavid said ... (6:56 PM) :

I'm very concerned regarding the re-emergence of the torn jean look, accompanied with feathers, ( also see previous photo: feather collar), it feels like, " ummm, I KNOW, put some feathers on it!!", kind of an after thought. Attractive women, outfits? not so much.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:59 PM) :

To Charllote k, i will explain to you,she is using something very basic, tee shirt white+jeans+shoes beige...well she make evrithing gorgeous, like to use a destroyer jeans+shoes with feathers+and over tee shirt white, her hair, whats she did is just all we woman wish,to transform the basic in something exceptional...beijos from a Brazilian lady!!!

Anonymous Sara Lua said ... (8:02 PM) :

I love this woman, and the velvet rouge lips! Love her swagger in these '90s boycut clothes.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:08 PM) :

Like the contrast of her dark hair against the white tee shirt. Red lips...cute shoes. The jeans are a bit too ripped up.

Blogger Lolitta said ... (8:42 PM) :

Love the shoes, they are very Carrie Bradshaw'ish..and obviously her statement piece in this outfit. I kinda like it.

Blogger GZ said ... (8:51 PM) :

I could totally understand this with a pair of faded and distressed jeans.

But not these. I don't think these jeans work on anyone, even her.

Anonymous Merinoz said ... (9:25 PM) :

Wow, Italians designers kill birds for fashion too.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:09 AM) :

i just love love love this... how to wear rags so elegantly - still an art that i am trying to learn.

so Sart, when are you coming to asia????????????

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:03 AM) :

The photo is so Botticelli Birth of Venus - a postmodern take. The lighting is amazing and the gold trees give her a beautiful halo. LOVE the jeans, mixed with her classic beauty and those fabulous, fabulous shoes.

Blogger said ... (4:15 AM) :

I love her sophisticated beauty: black hair + red lips... And the way she adds casualness to it with this combo. The pants aren't too flattering, but Mariacarla wears them well enough.

Anonymous evie said ... (5:01 AM) :

i lurve the shoes - they are sooo Carrie Bradshaw

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:40 AM) :

Those shoes should be in my wardrobe!!

Blogger Cindy at LottieBird said ... (7:54 AM) :

If only I could pull off this look!

The red lips and the fabulous heels really bookend the ditressed clothing and make it chic instead of "weekend wear." Well done.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:40 AM) :

beautiful, however, i think she would look better if her jeans were not as faded, a nice shade of dark worn indigo would have worked better

Anonymous Filuzi said ... (9:11 AM) :

About the only person I can think of who can pull this outfit off.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:49 AM) :

love the contrast between the ripped jeans and the nude strappy heels.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:18 AM) :

OMG, those shoes!! Un-frieken-believable. Goes to show a gorgeous woman can make a burlap sack look good. Love, love, love this photo.

Blogger Heidi said ... (1:20 PM) :

This is perfection. If I could dress like this every day I would.

Blogger A La Mode said ... (1:55 PM) :

This woman looks stunning. You always manage to capture natural beauty at it's purest. Fantastic!

Blogger Stacey Thomas said ... (3:02 PM) :

FABULOUS! she pulls off the tattered boyfriend jeans look flawlessly!

Anonymous Daniel John Hardy said ... (9:14 PM) :

She does ripped denim so well! I love it!

Blogger Vanessa said ... (10:40 PM) :

She is wonderfully stylish beyond any social conventions, her shoes are whimsical, and her beauty ethereal...however it is a shame to see such a beautiful face overshadowed by hair that does nothing for her. I liked it better when it was short.

Anonymous Eric Kaljo Roos said ... (8:11 AM) :

What a lovely idea to put this all together as she does.

I LOVE the ripped shows these jeans have a history, and know their owner...almost like a pet!! SUPER.....!

Blogger Brummagem Joe said ... (9:17 AM) : a very good sense

Anonymous Scent Hive said ... (11:34 AM) :

Does it really matter what this woman is wearing?

Blogger Daniela Valdez said ... (12:43 PM) :

I love Mariacarla! I had the opportunity to interview her this year and I think she is amazing!!

Blogger Mary said ... (1:19 PM) :

She looks like an angel. Love it! :)

Blogger Amber said ... (6:39 PM) :

Executed perfectly. Minimalism with edge. She looks gorgeous.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:07 AM) :

The outfit works, especially for someone so thin. However, from the neck up - no no. Her hair, face, and lips really make her look like an old vampire, and an unattractive one. She needs only to open her mouth and flaunt her teeth to complete the look.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:25 AM) :

I always wanna dress like that with BF ripped jeans, but I'm too petite standing at 5'3. Even with heels, still doesn't look that fab....OMG, I LOVEEEE THIS LOOK. Molto bellisima!!

Anonymous Hannah W. said ... (1:18 PM) :

This is absolutely one of my all time favoirte "looks". I love a simple white tee with jeans and then jazzing it up with a pair of great shoes. Simple and understated but kicked up a notch. She's so beautiful and she really rocks this look.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:19 PM) :

I love how she re invents the classic white tee with the shredded jeans and exoctic heels.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:57 PM) :

Blogger Unknown said ... (8:50 PM) :

Beautiful woman. I love her lipstick, dark hair, and shoes. However, the rest is just a big boiling hot mess-from her wrinkled t-shirt to her destroyed boyfriend jeans.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:37 PM) :

Anonymous Christine J said ... (1:05 PM) :

great combination of ripped oversized jeans, simple white t-shirt, delicate high heels. nonchalant and cool, but feminine.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:24 PM) :

Really beautiful. I think the white tee makes this.
