Romantic vintage, absolutely stunning!

Anonymous FashionAdArt said ... (5:12 PM) :

Wow! Successfully pulling off vintage. <3 Love how the necktie/scarf mirrors the texture of her hair. Lovely. The belt is also flawless with that blouse.

Anonymous princess glee said ... (5:18 PM) :

She's cute. I'm liking the idea of the feathers, buuuuuuuut....maybe if they were more colorful it would be better, kinda looks like dusting feathers. Still, everything else is nice, the colors, the relaxed feel.

Blogger The Chukker said ... (5:19 PM) :

Estremely interesting chemisier. The whole picture reminds me of something out of the 70's. Sort of a film or an ad.
She has a very chic presence indeed, and her best feature---for me--- is the lovely, dreamy eyes.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:19 PM) :

Love how the spider belt offsets the tarantula neckpiece. At first look she is conservative but look a little closer and wow!

Anonymous celine said ... (5:23 PM) :

I live in italy since 6 months, I stay hours with my cappuccino analysing people's style. I love it so much ! (sorry for my language, I'm french !)

Blogger Honeygo Beasley said ... (5:31 PM) :

For me, this gives new meaning to the word "hairshirt."

Looks like she just came from the beauty salon, got a great "do," but the stylist forgot to put a cape on her while cutting, and left the hair clippings all over her shoulders.

I love everything except that fur (?) collar thingie. Love the belt looped like that, the boyish silhouette, the smile, the lighting, everything else.

Blogger MOD PAUL said ... (5:31 PM) :

You always get the best shots of her.. Well done.

Beautiful girl. The feathers around the collar are an interesting touch.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:10 PM) :

The look would have been perfect without the feathers. She's trying too hard.

Blogger AONIE said ... (6:20 PM) :

Blogger Lady Macaron said ... (6:28 PM) :

Eva is beautiful!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:30 PM) :

Everything seems perfect about the photo: the model (beautiful, love the expression of her face/smile), the outfit et the light, God the light!!!!

Blogger Jody said ... (6:35 PM) :

I am about to spend the next three days trying to replicate that necklace of feathers. It's AMAZING!!

Anonymous sanmiguelense said ... (6:37 PM) :

I love the style, but the foto is perfect because the shirt matches the car and the windows in the building in the background!

Blogger Lucy in the Sky said ... (6:38 PM) :

the yellow/peach tones are beautiful.

Anonymous The Photodiarist said ... (6:39 PM) :

Anonymous Devin said ... (6:54 PM) :

I've been a reader and appreciator of your blog for some time. This is my favorite photo I've seen yet. Yes the clothing is unique and has a classy way of being non-over the top avant guarde, but the woman's expression and sense of self is what truly is remarkable.
Thanks for capturing :)

Blogger Karen said ... (7:01 PM) :

It's so nice to see Eva again after just getting through the part about her in your book! She's so great, my new fashion idol.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:08 PM) :

love the points on the collar. perfect. and that belt, inspired by entomology, is a future classic that will be glass-cased in design museums everywhere!

Blogger Edna Leshowitz said ... (7:10 PM) :

Striking face, love the 70's warm-filtered look of the photo, but not so keen on the style. Good photo, though.

Best,

Blogger muranogirl said ... (7:52 PM) :

love, love, love!

Blogger Angela R Miller said ... (8:07 PM) :

The BUG BELT is the BEST. Such a fun & tasteful surprise!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:36 PM) :

She is seriously the most beautiful woman in the world, but while I admire her stylistic bravery, the feather duster doesn't do it for me.

Blogger Mac Daddy said ... (8:42 PM) :

Accessories are PHENOMENAL, so so envious.

I have been obsessing over lighting in photos such as this, I LOVE IT :)

Great work

Blogger Markmont said ... (8:54 PM) :

Really dig the photo with the color cast. Only minor thing that bothers me is the lower hand being cut out of the shot. Interesting style, really makes it hard to tell her age.

Blogger Unknown said ... (8:59 PM) :

So you really want us all to turn into Eva fans! Elegant and playful as always...

Blogger Michael Limaco said ... (9:05 PM) :

The feathers, the baby blue, the touches of gold remind me of grandma, but arranged in such a contemporary way. I love it!

Blogger Michael Limaco said ... (9:14 PM) :

Oh and let me add, this is probably the most original outfit I've seen so far this month. It's elegant, edgy, and sophisticated all at once!

Anonymous Chantelle said ... (9:19 PM) :

great light great belt

Blogger Peter Breese said ... (9:36 PM) :

Magnificent. The light is perfect with the elegant soft feel of her outfit. Wonderful confident smile!

What's up with this light? It's probably the most original picture on your blog ever!!

Blogger Holly Brindley said ... (10:56 PM) :

The lovely lady's expression and aura make the outfit nice. One of those outfits i love to see in a photo/on someone else but, alas, would not be able to wear myself i don't think..

Blogger Nick Leonard said ... (11:58 PM) :

Great style, and I really enjoy the vintage tone this photo has.

Anonymous Holly said ... (12:03 AM) :

I think the belt is the only accessary she needs with that outfit. The neckpiece is a little scarey to me...Her hair is adorable and the feathers or whatever they are are too matchy matchy...they ruin the amazing impact that could have been made on me!

Anonymous Cassie said ... (12:08 AM) :

Why cant more people people use that elegance in Australia, I love it

Blogger kale daikon said ... (1:05 AM) :

Ethereal beauty! Someone send this to Jane Campion as inspiration for her next film after Bright Star.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:08 AM) :

beautiful photo. looks vintage!

Blogger The Vintagent said ... (1:13 AM) :

NOBODY can rock a deconstructed feather duster like Eva! Kudos girl - edgier than her usual insightful mixup.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:21 AM) :

Wow... I've just felt in love with this look...! Simply GREAT!

Blogger Joy Mars said ... (2:55 AM) :

The hair, the feathers. Yeah, it's obvious.

But the real star of the show is that "bee" belt. Or is it a wasp? Totally fabulous!

Please tell who makes it.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:04 AM) :

I personally don't care much for the fur-collar, but everything else is just wonderful! very audrey hepburn-esque.
plus, may I say, a perfect picture!! what with the sunlight and the soft edges and all...great!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:38 AM) :

It´s like if she´s in th sixties or in the cast of Mad Men. Lovely

Blogger Gigi said ... (3:38 AM) :

A bit freaked out by the feathers. But otherwise it´s such a classic look and pic.

Blogger Ammu said ... (3:49 AM) :

Eva is one of my favorite people in your book - so cool! Love that blue - it looks just perfect with gold and that whimsical belt buckle. Lovely.

Eva is gorgeous, she is a natural beauty.

I personally do not like the feathers, but she pulls it off very well.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:04 AM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:04 AM) :

In response to some of you, she is NOT trying too hard, she looks lovely and has a very unique personal style, jealous anyone?

Blogger Catherine Blair Pfander said ... (9:12 AM) :

This is such wonderful DIY inspiration! I'm off to the craft store to stock up on feathers and glue.

Blogger Tim McFarlane said ... (9:41 AM) :

That's an interesting way to make an otherwise standard top stand out a bit. The spider-like belt detail is nice, also.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:29 AM) :

This is fantastic, a minimal look tied perfectly together with the feathers and that wasp looking belt (stellar color choice). Not to mention you captured the adorable innocence of Eva in the fading sunlight. I always look forward to seeing updated photos of her.

p.s. you've revolutionized the way I look at everyday people.

That is so creepy and beautiful! She has a very italian face and the accents of style are most original! Brava.

Anonymous Hazoon said ... (10:34 AM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:08 AM) :

Great job on the photography! The washed out lighting is perfect, not to mention the blue car in the background. Wow.
I love that feather-duster necklace. It offsets that more conservative belt.
Also love the buttoned-up look of the whole ensemble with her conservative hair and almost no makeup look. Perfection.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:49 AM) :

This photo of her is absolutly exquisite.......perfection in color and necklace is whimsy with tailored look.....thank you......L

Blogger Yumichika said ... (11:52 AM) :

and this scarf.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:46 PM) :

What a lovely outfit!
The pants and the belt are amazing.

Blogger Isabelle Lafleche said ... (12:58 PM) :

So pretty....

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:33 PM) :

Something on this photo reminded me Audry Hepburn, something I don´t know what... Audry is looking better but this photo is somehow reminding me her. Sorry, I couldn´t ressist. Anyway that belt is cool and thing around her neck somehow odd for me, better without it and look would be much more better, just my two cents. Pavel

Anonymous wrinkledrose said ... (3:05 PM) :

that's an awesome belt!!

Blogger Lena Loginova said ... (3:39 PM) :

baby blue+chinos+feathers would normally scare the living daylights out of me, but she looks so beautiful!
there's something slightly childish about how the outfit is put together, so dreamy and so naive. now who can wear an ant belt ( eh! an ant belt!!!) better than this.
<3

Blogger Unknown said ... (3:59 PM) :

gorgeous...
i wanna style her home!

Blogger Maria said ... (4:37 PM) :

Anonymous YAIYA said ... (5:06 PM) :

Blogger jonzak said ... (5:28 PM) :

LOVE the soft, washed out effect from the lighting. She's so adorable, outfit (the feather around the collar rocks), hair and face. Smile and the whole world smiles with you.

Blogger Unknown said ... (7:20 PM) :

the amélie of fashion. she's always so f*'n adorable.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:54 PM) :

Not a fan of the feathers, something about it looks off. Maybe it's because the collar is buttoned to the top of the blouse. Not sure. I do love the bug on the belt, quirky and cool.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:27 PM) :

she reminds me of a super cute five year old, who is equally bright but in an bigger package (slightly)... adorable

Blogger Pearl Bhasin said ... (1:39 AM) :

I'd be sneezing my brains out with that scarf? necklace? trimming? WHAT IS IT??!

Blogger gabrielazeanadal@hotmail.com said ... (4:11 AM) :

I have to say WOW! This is so great, I love the way she looks so femenin with this garçon hair and masculin cut pants. The belt and those feathers are wonderful! Bravo!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:41 AM) :

A bit of a miss I think somethings off. But the concept is spot on, imagine a shark look! A necklace resembling a set of sharp teeth, incorporating a shark motif somewhere in the look...

Blogger Ruth said ... (9:25 AM) :

love the whole outfit, but the belt is priceless. the collar is ingenius

Anonymous Farah said ... (9:53 AM) :

She is soo perfect! I loveee her hair! I have the same haircolor and texture, I'll get this cut when I go to university in 2 years, I promise! I love the lighting and everything is just perfect! God bless you for making this photograph. Godd bless you ^^

Blogger Unknown said ... (10:18 AM) :

This outfit is a winner because she can be a lady and a provocateur at the same time without giving up her dignity. The feathers are not everyone's cup of tea, but the point is that it is her personal style. I don't think that true style is very often understood.

She plays with ideas and is very elegant at the same time. There is timelessness about her because she is not looking to recreate trends determined by comercial products.

A true example of style.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:28 AM) :

She is my favorite!

Anonymous lady d said ... (11:53 AM) :

this woman is amazing. great style, love the necklace and how she is wearing it. i am very disappointed about the blog though which censors negative comments. not everyone has to like these people's style all the time.

Blogger Unknown said ... (8:51 PM) :

I saw this woman on street chic for Elle magazine. On that website, there's a full body shot. The pants are a disgrace. However, I didn't notice the belt. It's really, really cute.
