i wish i could pull off socks and heals like those...and i want that bag. Fab-u-lous.

Blogger Rosalind said ... (2:07 PM) :

On first glance, I wasn;t that sure about this, but looking again it's really grown on me! It suddenly looks really well out together, and the attention to detail is really well thought out. I especially like the chunky shoes/socks combination wih the trousers. And the bright bag is perfect.
Strange question, do you shoot on a Canon 5D camera?

Shoes do not work with the outfit.

Love the sox with those shoes!

I love the pops of color. Really unexpected choices (neon yellow and navy, who knew), but somehow she makes it work.

That looks sheik and comfy, my favorite combo for the ladies. A yellow bag or clutch is must for any wardrobe. I can't get enough of cuffed pants that are low slung or have a higher rise.

Blogger KP said ... (2:34 PM) :

oh so marni-love the shoes!

Anonymous suzanne nelson said ... (2:40 PM) :

This is so great! i find it unexpected, i don't know why but i really like it, love the fabric of those pants and the colors of her shoes and bag.

Blogger Michael Limaco said ... (2:40 PM) :

I like how the blue and yellow pop out in a non-offensive way. While the yellow and blue have a metallic, shiny sheen, it is toned-down with the soft texture of her vest/jacket. This outfit really is a play on texture and materiality and color. It's also an outfit that could be both downtown and uptown.

Blogger Heather said ... (2:41 PM) :

Amazing hair.

Blogger Jenny May said ... (2:42 PM) :

She adds splashes of color in all the right places. Check out my blog fashionminutes.blogspot.com

Oh, and to make a comment in regards to some people disliking the socks with the heels, I would have to say that I like the pairing. Although the shoes are heels, they have a sporty look to them. You always wear socks with sporty shoes whether they are heels or not!

Blogger Stacey Thomas said ... (3:01 PM) :

I absolutely love the color contrast between the bag and the shoes! Also love the visual interest created by the mix of textures. LOVE!

Blogger Nesle Baghdasarian said ... (3:33 PM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:48 PM) :

I'm a sucker for neon yellow and blue together. The textures of this outfit is genius!

not a big fan. I think it's missing some very necessary femininity? but it is a cool outfit.

Blogger Ivy Lane said ... (5:30 PM) :

didn't see what the big deal was until I scrolled down and saw the feet. They totally make the outfit.

Anonymous l, williams said ... (8:15 PM) :

i need to move elsewhere so i can wear an exotic style in peace. salt lake doesn't cut it.

Blogger JMitchell said ... (8:19 PM) :

i'm obsessed with this... it just stops me every time i scroll. i love her smile with the bag. and then the colors just somehow go together so well and then last, the shoes and heels. impressive

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:21 PM) :

She looks strikingly like Chloe Sevigny

Great shoes, but not a fan of the furriness!
The shiny shoes and clutch add all the necessary color.
Very bold.

Anonymous Katy McDevitt said ... (11:23 PM) :

Furry vest = Sonny Bono = no. But those shoes? Oooh, le big swoon.

Blogger Unknown said ... (2:00 AM) :

This just hits the spot!
I love Marni and this (to me) is so very "Marni"! She is rocking all of the primary colors in such a subtle way.
Where can i find pants like that? It's skinny jeans everywhere I look!.... still!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:24 AM) :

So Carrie Bradshaw...

Anonymous Tobias said ... (5:28 AM) :

I Love that look! And the yellow bag is really nice with that outfit.

Anonymous SamBee said ... (9:26 AM) :

Socks with heels is occasionally more about (dare I say) comfort over fashion.
But style (as this person has) plus conviction, equals a great look. Love the yellow too.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:25 AM) :

Brilliant look! The west together with the pants, together with those shoes...
For me socks in shoes is a very chick look.

Anonymous ROXY MARJ said ... (11:49 AM) :

love this!!!! This is definitely a turn this outfit into a room look!

Anonymous Sophie, the Barton Girl said ... (1:47 PM) :

This is the very essence of Marni - all chic with a dash of unexpected drama.
Just can't get enough of it.

Blogger Joy Mars said ... (3:31 PM) :

The cobalt blue shoes are pretty cool.

They make the outfit. I guess that's all you need: one dynamite accessory.

The purse is cool too. Maybe two dynamite accessories is all you need...

Blogger Octavia Morris said ... (9:11 PM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:43 AM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:34 AM) :
