Blogger Rosalind said ... (12:26 PM) :

Hmm.. the jurys still out on this look. I do quite like the jumper but I'm not sure if the shape looks right over the dress to be honest.
There's some definitely interesting elements though. The pattern on the dress reminds me of wood for some reason? And it has very interesting sleeves.
It may not be my favourite look, but its certainly unique!

Blogger The Spicers said ... (12:48 PM) :

Does she work with Anna Dello Russo? Love the sweater thrown casually over the matching separates.

Anonymous Lisette said ... (12:57 PM) :

Love how the turquoise of the screen (windows?) in the background is reflected in her bracelet/tag!!

Blogger Jack Daniel said ... (1:45 PM) :

What a lovely looking lady this is.

Blogger Rachel @ The Haute Notes said ... (1:45 PM) :

I like the white knit top. And the blue bracelet is a nice touch as it adds an unexpected pop of color to the look. Definitely not feeling this odd print though!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:47 PM) :

May be someone lend her that sweater....

Blogger blueloafers said ... (1:59 PM) :

it's all about the hair..i think

Blogger cami falcão said ... (2:06 PM) :

love the way she wears her hair.

Blogger Pandamay said ... (2:11 PM) :

Love your site. Being a Libra I appreciate the beautiful clothes and people you share with us. Seems like a lot of the people you photograph have cigs. Is this because they go outside to smoke, or does smoking go with better fashion sense, intelligence?

Blogger Montreal Street Views said ... (2:14 PM) :

Stunning!
:-)

Blogger The Couturier said ... (2:29 PM) :

i just like that this look is so nonchalant and carefree. the messy hair is also a personal favorite.

That's adorable

Blogger Hanna Persson said ... (2:43 PM) :

strangely enough this looks great!

Blogger Unknown said ... (3:09 PM) :

i LOVE this look. messy up-do like 'who care?!' and still look sexy. so awesome.

Blogger kahartland said ... (3:13 PM) :

i dont know how i feel about this one...not my favorite, i have to say. still, i think it works.

Blogger Unknown said ... (3:53 PM) :

I love it! I think the print is great, and I love that she's made the outfit entirely her own. The shape of the sweater over the dress is interesting, and makes me want to stare at her to figure out what's going on. It doesn't hurt that she's perfectly lovely and very thin, too.

Blogger Soren Lorensen said ... (4:15 PM) :

i think the jumper is okay

but with this it just looks silly

i'd wear it with wide tailored pants....possibly braces also

Anonymous Lauren said ... (4:39 PM) :

I love it, I think it's a beautiful piece. But like some of you said, the hair really makes it!

Blogger Anita Puksic said ... (5:12 PM) :

I think it's funky.

Peace and love!

Blogger Davina said ... (5:24 PM) :

Wow, who would've thought that a shrunken sweater would look so stylish on top of a printed outfit like that!

Blogger Nat said ... (5:33 PM) :

How wonderful and different is world! Your pictures prooves my words! :)

Blogger miss sophie said ... (5:46 PM) :

i like how she just tossed a shrunken sweater over her dress. it's the ease of this look that really makes it interesting. it also doesn't hurt that she has a natural elan about her :)

Anonymous Manuel said ... (6:39 PM) :

Elegant, natural
She is a lady

Anonymous Thecountess said ... (6:58 PM) :

She looks cool! I like this picture.

Blogger cecylia.com said ... (8:03 PM) :

Matching bracelet!
Now I have an excuse not to throw away shrunken jumpers

Blogger Alice Liddell Blog said ... (8:07 PM) :

i'm so drawn to this. makes me want to hang out with her all day and learn all i can about her - she just oozes cool.

Blogger Le Veggie Burger said ... (9:25 PM) :

wow..just wow..the sweater doesnt even seem to fit with the outfit underneath, and she still looks amazing. (the cigarette ruins it a little for me thought)

Blogger DENNI said ... (9:44 PM) :

simply love it. nice look.

Blogger S. said ... (9:55 PM) :

She can wear anything and still look great.

Anonymous mcihelle said ... (9:57 PM) :

She can only get away with this because she is tall and thin.

Blogger Cobalt Violet said ... (10:31 PM) :

Laughed at the comment someone left that "maybe someone lent them their sweater." Yep and my hair looks like that when I am going to wash my face. Sorry. Sometime the messy hair thing works and sometimes ... you are just trying to keep it off the moisturizer.

Anonymous AnonymousJK said ... (12:10 AM) :

I wish I could see more of the outfit, because I think I'd like it! The sweater is tiny and so is she, which is probably why this look works!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:41 AM) :

Hot! When you're this thin you can get away with anything and everything . . . una bella figura!

Blogger Ljubica said ... (12:50 AM) :

this is an interesting photo. it leaves me wanting to know more.

at first glance it looks plain, but there are details and i can't conclude whether they're intended to look that way or if that's simply the way it happened. but i like it, i think :)

Blogger Unknown said ... (4:12 AM) :

That sweater looks ridiculous with everything else she's wearing. Though I like the shirt and pants :)

Blogger raguandroses said ... (4:30 AM) :

I don't know if this convinces me...theres' something wrong with proportions. But I like the shabby-chic chignon.

Blogger Unknown said ... (4:38 AM) :

What's the word to express this indefinable match beetween trend, classicism and personal touch ?
Charm, maybie.

Anonymous Mimi said ... (4:44 AM) :

Hair, definitely.

Blogger L said ... (6:07 AM) :

that outfit works so well. all the proportions go so well together.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:27 AM) :

This photo is interesting to look at; the subject is quite charismatic, however the textures in her outfit do not match very well.

Anonymous delphi said ... (6:53 AM) :

divine. The most beautiful cafe au lait hair I have ever seen

Blogger rodi said ... (7:20 AM) :

i agree. with this hair everything will flow..

Blogger The Khaki Crusader said ... (8:24 AM) :

As many people have said, I really like 'her' so much it wouldn't phase me what she was wearing. But I do like the super cropped thing, why not?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:14 AM) :

oooh, I'd love to see her face wihtout the sunglasses. judging from the profile (and in my opinion), she must be absolutely beautiful.
and I, too, love the hair.

Blogger C. said ... (10:30 AM) :

I love this picture. The lady looks so chic with her sunglasses, hair tied back, and the tiny knit sweater.

Blogger Donna said ... (11:32 AM) :

interesting proportion- love!

Blogger harps said ... (12:45 PM) :

you can see more of the outfit here
http://jakandjil.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/teamdellorusso.jpg

I really don't like it

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:45 PM) :

Beyond just the fun and quirky personal styles that you catch on camera, your photos make me want to KNOW the person... tremendous talent to behold. thank you. I love that she's facing the opposite flow of people, the color green behind her, her perfect frame, even the white of her sweater, cig, and box. Really really fantastic.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:17 PM) :

I just don't get this...can someone help me? Are those fancy pajamas underneath? And then a sweater on top? And you see ridges of the fabric from underneath in the sweater? This is how I used to dress while convalescing in a very drafty Chicago apartment in the dead of winter...even the hair. Pretty woman, though.

Anonymous Bombshell Kitten said ... (1:46 PM) :

I agree with Lissette, the fact that her bracelet accidentally echoes the background makes this such a great shot.

Blogger Ore said ... (2:43 PM) :

ooh her ray-bans are HOTT :)

Blogger AdamfromVA said ... (4:49 PM) :

Don't know why but this works so well. I love that everyone smokes in Europe(Hyperbole), it is very aesthetically pleasing for some reason, to me at least.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:49 PM) :

This is the same girl in the post "On the Street.....Legs, Milano." The one wearing the blue and white dress.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:40 AM) :

I don't know which brand, but Love this CdG meets Prada silhouette.

Blogger Cultural Blonde said ... (6:15 PM) :

The look works and she looks bien dans sa peau, comfortable within her own skin. She carries it well.

Blogger Paige said ... (7:57 PM) :

Show us the shoes!

Blogger Ruhvana and Flanelli said ... (2:08 AM) :

I really like this. Somehow very chick in an extremely casual way.

Ruhvana

Anonymous Caroline said ... (9:44 AM) :

I love the cropped top trend...I just bought a cropped tee at Urban Outfitters. It really adds a different dimension to your whole look. Which is, of course, also part of why I am now on a diet, haha!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:16 PM) :

effortless cooooool....love it gurl

yours truly

Blogger Kaitlin DH said ... (3:35 PM) :

I love this look...it is so elegant without trying. I dislike the smoking, but her fashion is effortless. It reminds me of a comfortable evening with friends, wine and jazz

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:44 PM) :

i love this one, it seems as she didn't really care she's just wearing whatever she had found, i mean maybe she was cold and decided to put that cropped top trend on..
or maybe she was thinking about every detail( like her hair)
whatever....she looks cool!

Blogger Lisa Blaise said ... (4:51 AM) :

She stands out because the outfit has a certain sponteneity. It works.
http://www.bowerbirdmania.blogspot.com

Blogger Jillian Hobbs said ... (9:42 AM) :

so simple but I absolutely love it!
She looks so relaxed and casual but very chic and it's so refreshing to see someone using patterns well!

Thank you for capturing this! xo

Blogger hc said ... (12:47 PM) :

the knit looks like an after-thought, making the messiness of it all the more better. great look.

Anonymous stefica said ... (11:26 AM) :

that sweater should not look good, but it does! it is due to her personal confidence and the hair, i believe. she's great!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:10 PM) :

It's not the best "look" ever- post-gym hair, awkward sweater, no idea what's going on with the bracelet-but it's better than that because she seems to be just going about her day, being fabulous. whatever.

Blogger mette said ... (12:51 PM) :

It is the unfinished look this woman/outfit has, that attracts my attention. Cool.

Blogger Unknown said ... (7:38 PM) :

LOVE it!

Blogger yankeegrl506 said ... (8:53 AM) :

Not really a fan of this particular look, it looks a bit awkward, though I do like the idea.

Anonymous Outfit Challenge said ... (3:16 PM) :

A tiny knit on a tiny person. Proportions are so important.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:20 AM) :

I think the sweater is a cashmere Prada (mens collection), since I bought one just like it, but blue, yesterday. Very nice, it's short in the model although not quite this short perhaps...

Blogger Duke De Silver (Senior) said ... (5:47 AM) :

Cutest knit Ive seen.

Blogger Demi said ... (7:17 PM) :

That's what I call really careless woman. I like that.
