I love this!
Very young, fun and free.
But still witha golden vintage twist.

wow at the movement of body

and movement of clothes

and sunshine and skin

I'm in heaven.

Love the girl in white! the shoes, and the feathers in her hair make it. And Brava to the backflipper!

Blogger Unknown said ... (12:17 PM) :

a backflip is of a dubious behavior, for a lady dressed as such.

Blogger Evelyn said ... (12:23 PM) :

her white top with the white skirt is a perfect match!! what a great summer look!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:29 PM) :

Wow, look at her calf muscles!

Blogger andreasgarrett said ... (1:20 PM) :

What a lovely photo-still and moving at the same time. The ruffles on her dress give that silent sense of "snap"-you can "hear" the cloth pop!
And, of course-wish I could do that:-). Andrea

I bet she's actually doing a handspring - she'd been in a different position doing a flip caught mid-motion.

You must be mostly proud to share that shot :)
Her muscles combined with the position of her body make her feel both strong and soft. :D
Way to go!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:49 PM) :

wow..that's just cool. I breeze thru the internet, every fashion blog, every single Times newspaper, this photo stopped me in my tracks.

Blogger Ruhvana and Flanelli said ... (5:23 PM) :

i think your daughter should show off more often if her moves are so cool. And that picture is so great: shadow, movement in the dress, even her face looks great 8that movement can make your face look so stypid, she just pulls it off so well)

Thank you for your blog, it's great.

Blogger happy hardcore said ... (5:31 AM) :

you are an excellent photographer

Anonymous Renate said ... (12:23 PM) :

The photo of your daughter reminds me of Jacques-Henri Lartigue's pictures...

Blogger repeatclicks said ... (5:27 PM) :

Fashion is fleeting, but style is forever. I simply cant understand how we went from this to what we have now. Cant grasp it. My wife and I wear vintage all the time. We make our own clothes from vintage patterns as well. Countless times have we been stopped and complimented on our style and been told 'gee... i wish everyone would dress like that still'

Its really a shame how muddled the fashion world is now.

Blogger Barbara said ... (10:53 PM) :

love the shot of your daughter.
