On the Street......Shark Pants, Sydney

I saw this guy standing in a crowd of people after a fashion show. He looked perfectly normal until the crowd parted just enough to reveal his crazy shark pants. I always love an unexpected touch of humor.

i played a little game with myself on this one. read the title and tried to envision what "shark pants" would look like. SKin tight skins or leather looking like skin came to mind. Never in a million would i have guessed these....awesome

Anonymous Jacopo said ... (11:13 AM) :

ah-mazing. although i'm not sure if it's a shark or more of a killer whale. either way shark pants do sound sexier. cheers to fish friendly trousers.

Blogger Anita Puksic said ... (11:13 AM) :

I love it and I want it !

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:19 AM) :

just as long as the shark doesn't stick out his tongue.

Blogger Ashley said ... (11:35 AM) :

Very unexpected touch of humor. I was expecting some kind of black shark skin pant.

Anonymous Elaine said ... (11:39 AM) :

Not only are the shark pants great, but also his shoes, necklace, stance, and the way he is holding his jacket! This is a great photograph, love the shading on the stairs (or is it rust?) and the background, with the open door and "Entry" sign, and colorless sky.

Blogger Jag said ... (11:45 AM) :

Bite me!

haha, what a crazy t-shirt!

Blogger Joy Mars said ... (12:15 PM) :

Wow -- love it! Something that looks very Australian -- something you'd see nowhere else!

Very totem-y.

I think this is what future male fashion will look like. More whimsical than it is now and more personal in expression.

Online people are creating "avatars" for themselves -- I think they'll start dressing avatar-like soon enough!

Blogger Philippe said ... (12:17 PM) :

Very cool pants & so funny...

Blogger MM said ... (12:23 PM) :

He's hot .
really hot.

Blogger Soren Lorensen said ... (12:25 PM) :

my favourite ever picture of all of yours that i have seen.

this man is the sex.

Anonymous The F-Word said ... (12:26 PM) :

love that this was taken after a fashion show. usually people tend to take fashion ( & their dressing ) more seriously at things like these, but i like how he remains unaffected by the glamor and the hype.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:26 PM) :

good stuff. love that he's not "working" the look. he's just relaxing in his shark pants! love him. who knows, maybe he's going to scream and run and stand on his head after the shots taken. great photo.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:50 PM) :

Most of your viewers have no fashion sense so I don't think this picture will help them in anyway to improve or educate them. Please remove this picture and go back posting people with fashion sense.

Blogger diane said ... (1:45 PM) :

I'm sure those pants don't get out very much, other than the occasional fashion show.

Blogger bisou-joue said ... (1:53 PM) :

Blogger DISCOFUNBATH said ... (5:18 PM) :

Blogger CW said ... (5:21 PM) :

I do not like it. The shark looks childish on pants. It might have worked better on his t-shirt.

His feet are shod in standard "swoosh."

Blogger NVA said ... (5:30 PM) :

the pants is provocative...
but his hi-top is hype

Anonymous moe...!!! said ... (5:40 PM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:34 PM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:35 PM) :

No Sart, those pants are awful! I don't even find it particularly funny. Yeah yeah, call me bitter, but this is just ugly!!

Blogger seditionaire said ... (7:38 PM) :

How cool is THAT! I wish more people would wear animal inspired clothing like this. Unfortunately, it does, however, strike me as being part of a costume.
