WOW. I'm in love.

Blogger Tristan said ... (5:45 PM) :

I like the way his used contrasting greys. I like pale colours.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:57 PM) :

Très chic le monsieur.

Blogger Bombchell said ... (5:58 PM) :

Nice!

Blogger Joy Mars said ... (6:17 PM) :

The title is perfect.

The choice of two grays is creative to the max.

Blogger NVA said ... (6:21 PM) :

sharp like a katana...

he is so so def

Blogger HMS said ... (6:24 PM) :

Too "Italian" for my liking... although he does piece the items well.

Blogger Alice Olive said ... (6:25 PM) :

Love the two greys and the white of his shirt and pocket square. Grey is wonderfully spare.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:27 PM) :

my scissors are so sharp that i want to give him a haircut.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:45 PM) :

Absolutely stunning. I love everything. The hair, the sunglasses, the heather gray tie, that amazing suit, and of course the coat. Would have loved to see the shoes, but this is still plenty. Wonderful.

Blogger The Concrete Commentator said ... (6:47 PM) :

I love tone on tone. This suit is one of the most beautifully fitted ones I've seen you photograph. Amazing!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:01 PM) :

He looks amazing, so sharp and stylish. Reminds me of how good a D-B can look, well cut and on the right man.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:27 PM) :

The suit is beautiful and the fit is perfect, but what is it with Italian men's hair? Many of them remind me of 70's mannequins.

Blogger thestyleadvisor said ... (7:40 PM) :

That is how to wear a double breasted suit. I love the elaborate fold of a simple pocket square, and the tie compliments the suit perfectly.

Blogger Cassiopeia said ... (7:41 PM) :

So well tailored and sharp! Love the hair and sunnies too. Great pic.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:45 PM) :

Yep, if you're quite thin, you can look really stunning if you can find a suit that fits right.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:03 PM) :

PLEASE come and dress me! I'm a woman and I never feel my best in suits; I feel not quite right. I want to feel and look this good and comfortable!

I suppose its just too bad for me as I believe that while men look their best in suits, women look their best in dresses...yet I must wear suits, so thank you for helping me pick up some ideas!

Blogger Diana Brito said ... (8:09 PM) :

Mmmmmmm - Fab!

Blogger John Danner said ... (8:15 PM) :

oh my god yes

Blogger TMFA said ... (8:27 PM) :

Fantastic!
Love his hair/sunglasses etc. The suit is of course very sharp.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:29 PM) :

o yessss. so elegant, and he knows it.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:38 PM) :

Is this the wonderfully chic ?Japanese-Italian man you have photographed before?

I'm sorry if this is off-topic, but to Anonymous suit-sufferer: why not approach buying suits as though they are dresses? I mean choose one that mirrors the shape of your favourite dress. I'm guessing you might like a suit with a defined waist, for starters.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:47 PM) :

Three shades of pale grey. The camel coat. The dark glasses and hair. And the crisp white of the shirt. It is simply perfect.
But there is something about him that reminds me of the wonderful guy you photographed several days ago in a plaid something with a marvelous laugh...
He came right out through the camera...Am I wrong?

Blogger Meredith said ... (11:04 PM) :

This guy is so hip.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:42 PM) :

Great look! He lets the silhouette do the talking.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:45 PM) :

I can't help but like this fellow. The lapel pin is a great touch. My hat goes off to you sir!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:54 PM) :

Sharp, cut close, and comfortable. perfect!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:15 AM) :

he looks great, nice hair! where have i seen him before??

Blogger hc said ... (12:18 AM) :

have to say, not the biggest fan of double-breasted, perfectly cut, wide lapel suits, as they have been around for a while, so nothing new there (aviators, and peeping chief included).

it's unfortunate that the best part of the ensemble, the always classic beige 3/4 topcoat, is merely an accessory here.

Blogger S. said ... (12:21 AM) :

Outfit worthy of George Thorogood "Bad to the Bone" sound effects.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:32 AM) :

I always love this guy's clothes, but the 70s sunglasses and beard need to go. Great cut for a DB suit.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:54 AM) :

Wicked. Should be the next James Bond villain.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:06 AM) :

this guy has appeared several times here/other fashion blogs, always consistently well-dressed! who is he?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:13 AM) :

Dudes in my old 'hood that looked like this were called pimps. They were despised but you still had to break 'em off a few style points, they were sharp, as is he.

Blogger Kastina said ... (2:01 AM) :

Who is her and where do I get him???

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:09 AM) :

By far your best shot from the fall/winter collection season !

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:12 AM) :

textbook

Blogger Lorenzo Sodi - Andrea Vitali Rosati said ... (3:51 AM) :

NICE FIT

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:04 AM) :

So sharp and perfectly put together. And he knows it too.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:22 AM) :

So wonderfully sharp. Love this.

Blogger Jack Daniel said ... (6:41 AM) :

he's got a perfected suited suit!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:47 AM) :

Guys with crisp white dress shirts and tight waists make me swoon.

Blogger David said ... (7:03 AM) :

very nice cut.

Blogger Jason said ... (8:07 AM) :

I believe you've photographed this gentleman before, and he's never failed to impress. However, I did notice that he's buttoned his DB suit in an unusual way -- typically, the middle-right button is the only one fastened -- yet it looks so natural on him, I didn't notice it on first glance. The suit truly is impeccably tailored, and his subtle accessories work perfectly. Bravo!

Blogger Petulia said ... (8:58 AM) :

hot- double breasted jackets never looked so good

Blogger Jazzbuff630 said ... (9:41 AM) :

Sharp!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:46 AM) :

Amazing suit. Interesting to see that he has the "wrong" button buttoned, but the jacket holds together also partly from the hidden mid-button. Nicely done! I also like the generous-sized pocket flaps. Would also like to know how he made his trousers lengthwise.

Blogger sal said ... (10:27 AM) :

looks good but a haircut would look better

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:45 AM) :

I like: the cut of the arm holes, slender sleeves, close at the waist, ticket pocket, and above all the back of the tie peeking out.
Double-vented, right?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:15 AM) :

This man has a wonderful look. Everything is amazing! His suits fits perfectly, great to wear! I like very much his long hair with the split in the middle. His hair is amazing and a great inspiration!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:25 AM) :

It would made him a lot if he cut his hair. But oh boy, this guy makes me consider my heterosexuality. ;-)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:32 AM) :

I DO LOVE THIS DEPICTION OF A MODERN DAY DANDY, THOUGH I HASTEN TO ADD ITS SLIGHTLY TOO ´OVERDONE´IN THE SENSE ITS ALL WAY TOO SMOOTH AND CONTRIVED AND A LITTLE BIT ON THE MUTED GREY-BLAND SIDE, WITH NAY A ROUGH EDGE IN SIGHT.

SAYS WHO YOU CAN´T MIX THE ROUGH WITH THE SMOOTH?! A SPLASH OF COLOUR WOULD HAVE DONE WONDERS OVERALL , ME THINK!

-HOGAN-

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:58 PM) :

if he was wearing a hippie outfit he'd look like serpico (al pacino).

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:10 PM) :

I'm gonna have to try the grey on grey look. Very smooth.

Love the cut of the suit. Close through the body and arms. But from the length of the arms, not one of those ridiculous Pee Wee Herman suits. Also loving the grey with the camel coat.

But the haricut, beard and aviators are a kinda porn star.

Blogger Raul Villalobos said ... (5:24 PM) :

Absolutely Fabulous. Que Panache!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:16 PM) :

fit is perfecct. accessories spot on.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:22 PM) :

Deja vu. PRL circa '75, inclusive right down to the RL for Tiffany horse shoe stickpin. jg

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:58 PM) :

This Japanese gent has the Milanese look downpat. A bit too constructed & safe to be categorized as sprezzatura, but his hair, beard, and aviators are fabulous.

Blogger lenmeister said ... (8:13 PM) :

YES! YES! YES!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:23 PM) :

DB at its finest. It doesn't get any better tailored than that. As for the hair, I think it goes quite well.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:21 PM) :

Yes of course, great cut, great fit, wonderful shade of gray and everything, but...Isn't there a little bit too much of that 'm'as-tu vu'(Look at me! look at me!) attitude which makes one a bit too self conscious and somehow a put off...My feeling.

Blogger Olviya said ... (7:14 AM) :

he is seducing...

Blogger Christina said ... (9:12 AM) :

Look at that swagger! I hope he is looking at this right now.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:45 AM) :

The suit fits impeccably, his aviators are perfect, great tie, great tonal match. I wish I had that polo coat in his hand. I bet that is just as captivating. He wanted everyone to see that great suit. Great shot, Sart!

Blogger Un Monito said ... (11:12 AM) :

Done in a Simon (AI) english voice: This really is an impeccable fit but this gentleman is beginning to bore me a little - he is always wearing sharp double breasted #'s in his photos. Don't get me wrong - he pulls it off and he looks amazing, but this look is much too easy to carry when you have a great tailor and you weigh in at approx a buck forty -Where's the SPREZZATURA? The creativity? Aside from the bottom button on his jacket being done up (a flaw? rather than sprezzatura).

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:24 PM) :

I completely agree with you, Ghazi.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:48 PM) :

Sart who is this guy he seems to be a favorite of your

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:14 PM) :

A few here seem to think he needs a haircut, but to me, that is such a big part of his look. He looks slightly arrogant, and I mean that in a good way. I can imagine him strutting down the street, all eyes on him. He looks so confident.

Blogger Preppy Cool said ... (8:26 PM) :

Impeccable fit... I must say. Love the contrasting grays. I wish he'd smile a bit. Style is joyous :-)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:42 PM) :

impeccable

Blogger Aaron said ... (10:18 PM) :

All class. Very well fitted double breasted suit, exceptionally cut.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:19 PM) :

DAYAM!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:35 PM) :

He is chief director of mens fashion magazine named "OCEANS" in Japan , sometimes apperes on TV show.
mmmm...very smart !

Blogger Gaurav said ... (1:24 AM) :

very sharp, very Italian !

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:36 PM) :

he's one cool cat

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:53 PM) :

Buttons the wrong way round again. Come on, people. Top one buttoned, bottom one unbuttoned. Some rules you don't break.

Blogger Kent Johnson said ... (10:05 PM) :

This is such a super dapper outfit. Right down to the lapel pin!

Blogger Abe said ... (2:49 AM) :

He pulls off that double breasted suit extrememly well. I must add that I really appreciate that he chose to go with a camel colored top coat as opposed to the very mainstream use of black

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:37 PM) :

Italian for sure, and amazing, we don´t need to see the title to know that this gentlemen is walking in the streets of Milan. Great eye, as always...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:50 PM) :

Like an Italian Jonathan Ross.

Anonymous Laura said ... (9:58 PM) :

I wonder what it's like being him...

Blogger Cotton Candy said ... (11:01 PM) :

Fabolous! No more words needed.

Anonymous SartorialStudent said ... (10:57 AM) :

Nice mixture of grey shades, a truly sharp looking chap and th aviators just give the outfit another aspect of 'cool'
