This couple really is from two different worlds.I like the cowboy style better-it is real. The woman has on fancy pieces, but somehow the result is not working, looks dull.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:19 AM) :

This really bores me. If you are going to go rockabilly, even a little bit, do it well! The man is okay, but the woman's look is unremarkable. I guess I can just take this as a shot of the guy, but he only looks so-so.

Blogger nolifebeforecoffee said ... (9:48 AM) :

definetely texas style... nice one! :)

Blogger Nerine said ... (10:11 AM) :

I love the blouse and skirt pairing. I would never think of putting those colours and textures together, but it works.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:13 AM) :

def need a sart profile on that guy you have taken like 6 pics of him now!! his style is great

Blogger Stephana Designs said ... (10:28 AM) :

Aww,if only my fellow Texans were as stylish as these two!Even most big city Texans are not this chic!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:30 AM) :

He stole the shot but her earrings are a pleasant surprise with this otherwise forgettable outfit.

mltt

Blogger Unknown said ... (10:32 AM) :

Sofia Coppola looking like Melina Mercouri. More Mediterranean than Texas to me.

Blogger Doodles said ... (10:43 AM) :

Wait, what's happening in Texas? That's right close to me!

Blogger Jack Daniel said ... (10:48 AM) :

Who's that woman in the back?? Her boots are amazing!!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:59 AM) :

Who is this woman? I saw her at Fashion Week in NYC as well.

Blogger laia. said ... (11:12 AM) :

Oh, Ms. Dello Russo, how I love thee. She's my fall fashion icon. I'm completely obsessed with what she wears.

Blogger Photo Club said ... (11:14 AM) :

This is a fantastic couple! I want to be them. Either of them.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:27 AM) :

he looks ruggedly handsome. but she is wrong all over. i really don't know where to begin.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:49 AM) :

I love the combination and they're overall 'attitude,' but not really sure I'm feeling the skirt on her--seems separate from the length of her legs.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:49 AM) :

Wow! I especially love how the perfect jeans are accented with a great belt and boots on the gentleman.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:05 PM) :

He looks like your polo shirt guy from a little while back.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:12 PM) :

this is the same guy who had that polo shirt with the high vents that you liked.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:29 PM) :

now THAT's the way to wear leopard!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:31 PM) :

OMG!

The world's happiest couple.

Who are they? Maybe they'll adopt me.

Blogger The Spicers said ... (12:34 PM) :

Ms. Della Russo always wears short skirts so well! Very chic!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:47 PM) :

Everything but the earrings...

Blogger Alicia said ... (12:57 PM) :

i.love.oxford.pumps

my shopping wish-list gets longer every day thanks to this site. So far, the top of the list includes

wool skirts
black tights
skinny short leather jacket
oxford pumps

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:57 PM) :

Their style reminds me of an editorial piece in the US Vogue from 2005 with Isabeli Fontana and her husband and baby and featured Marni, Louis Vuitton, Prada and Miu Miu...kind of Ali McGraw and Steve McQueen in Marfa...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:25 PM) :

COME TO TORONTO
ull be pleasantly surprised!
PLEASE

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:12 PM) :

Who is this guy? He seems to always pull off a casual but supremely well put together look.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:32 PM) :

Too kool for skool! Love it!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:38 PM) :

I love those Gucci booties.

Blogger J Voltaire said ... (2:40 PM) :

ooooh, i like her skirt and the animal print top.
i also like that asian guy to the right with the grey double breasted jacket.
but i really like the silhouette of the lady's skirt.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:13 PM) :

They look striking together, but I don't like those tacky Gucci platforms from the adverts.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:16 PM) :

my favorite part of this is actually the man in the background with the sunglasses and grey coat. the woman's outfit is a tad awkward to me.

Blogger Esteban said ... (3:44 PM) :

Him...looking pretty laid back and casual in the jeans and check/plaid shirt combo. Great belt and boots

Her...great oversized glasses, funky heels and a little animal print never goes wrong!

Blogger stacy said ... (4:05 PM) :

I'm a sucker for animal print...especially when it's done this well and with such confidence.

Blogger Butch said ... (4:05 PM) :

Disparate looks that somehow complement one another.

In re him: this is American dressing (whether he's American or not.)

This is what we do best: jeans, plaid shirt, avaiator shades (well, almost) leather bracelet-ette, etc.

Blogger Landis said ... (4:08 PM) :

it's like safari picnic.

i would never have paired them. . . but they sure look cute together.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:34 PM) :

i her look, that skirt is so classy. i have one from bluefly that i just bought and loveeeeee it. i never thought to pair with the leopard print, very chic- thanks texas;)

Blogger Unknown said ... (4:44 PM) :

love her look!

Blogger Carolina Lange said ... (4:57 PM) :

Love her shoes!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:23 PM) :

All I've got to say is, dude style lives -- even in Texas!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:30 PM) :

I think that that has to be the worst skirt ever.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:44 PM) :

OMG is that the type of woman he goes for? he is absolutely HOT, and he loves a smoke eh? god he looks good

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:01 PM) :

ah! i thought you were going to switch cigarettes to walkie-talkies!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:32 PM) :

This guy has magnetism, that's for sure.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:18 PM) :

good lord, is he SMOKING!?!?

whatever you do , don't tell coco!
(sorry, just kidding)

Blogger Unknown said ... (11:48 PM) :

Casting call for a Tarantino flick? Rockabilly chic, y'all!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:35 AM) :

hello!? did anyone noticed the cool jap dude at the periphery of this shot. He's coooool

Blogger Unknown said ... (3:17 AM) :

some cool outfits to be wearing to hang out in les tuileries...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:49 AM) :

Is this the same young lady that has cropped up several times before in your shots sart? (see July 19 and a few others) .
I think this lady always looks fashionable, but the clothes do not suit her. It's as if the clothes are wearing her, rather than the reverse.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:03 PM) :

The skirt is fine, BUT, it just doesn't go with her persona.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:56 PM) :

this one sure inspired some weird comments! he's waaay more western than rockabilly. why wouldn't it occur to some people to combine leopard print with camel neutrals? and what's this about her skirt "seeming separate from the length of her legs" or not matching her personality, or whatever?? that doesn't actually make sense! they're both way too cool, and i see western in both. he's a cowboy, and she's his sasparilla-slinging sweetheart.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:52 AM) :

They are so cool together somehow. Perhaps it’s the attitude of the moment?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:18 PM) :

There really is a town called Paris in Texas :)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:54 PM) :

Home! I never see anyone dress well here... HAH!
Everyone looks normal to me in the background...

Blogger pearlaceous said ... (8:09 PM) :

I like how she wore the skirt with a tucked in leopard print top.. and I love how her red earrings add to her look..

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:36 AM) :

im almost positive i know this man, if its the same man, he's a stylist.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:56 AM) :

People, he is George Cortina.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:21 AM) :

OMG, if even one of you had EVER been to Paris, Texas, which I HAVE, you find this image to be utterly flattering.

The true style of Paris, Texas runs more toward polyester and plastic shoes!

Blogger Kate said ... (11:47 AM) :

Paris TX a looooooooong way from Paris, France. So glad I got out!

Blogger Paige said ... (2:32 PM) :

haha, Paris, TX, good one Sart! i've driven through there more times than i can count. Very sweet people, but not nearly as stylish as the original Paris.
The woman's shoes are awesome! but somehow i find the people in the background of this picture more interesting.
Also, i must say that a proper Texan would never wear this jeans that low. They look cool on the gentleman, but Sart, don't you keep telling us to pull our pants up to our waist?
