Love the dusky gray and slim fit of the suit - reckon it'll work for both dark- and light-haired types. Can't help but notice the graphic black-edged pocket square... together with the darker shirt it binds the look.

Would like to see a scarf that picks out the blue of the pocket square (rather than the gray).

his hair! i covet his hair!
i also covet his obvious comfort in this very fine outfit. this is natural for him. when it comes naturally, when this much style is second-nature, it's so beautiful.

Fantastic! So trad, yet so very, very hip. Is it the wonderful pocket square, the thing on his left wrist, the chain (so b-boy), the sleeve length, or all those little things together that take this lovely suit and scarf to another level? I guess I should expect nothing less from someone at a Costume show.

this is how you make a suit punk.

This outfit's insane!

I sorta wish he moved the book cuz I'm suspect another wicked detail is hiding under there.

Is that a McQueen scarf? I love how the skull print elevates the overall look

Wow, I love his style - from the cuff length to the pocket-watch he's wearing it perfectly.

i'm loving the cool irony, so trad yet so rebel at the same time.

Love the scarf on the gentleman. So chic. Nice fit on the jacket too.

A desirable slim-cut suit in lovely greys again! This is impeccable tailoring: observe how the sleeves drape forwards without tugging on the armhole despite the narrowness.

I disagree with Angela, a shot of color picking up the blue of his pocket square would have made the look predictable: the skull patterned scarf is perfectly cool.

he reminds me of the grandfather(the younger version) of "chibi maruko chan" --;
but i like his style

a perfect interpretation of infernal affairs' gentleman. coldblooded yet stylish. love it!!!

Does anyone know where one can get that pocket square?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:56 PM) :

The scarf -is- mcqueen. There's also beige/maroon.

"The scarf -is- mcqueen. There's also beige/maroon."

I think someone else said the gray/black scarf is mcqueen. I'm asking about the blue/white/gray pocket square. Did you mean to say scarf or square?

It's interesting that no one mentioned the cigarette after all the comments on the woman smoking one a while back. I wonder why?

Blogger Bel said ... (11:25 PM) :

I saw this photo and loved it. Exquisite suit, sleeve length and hair style. But then I viewed the larger image of this and noticed the skulls on his scarf. I don't get the whole "skull on clothing and acceesories" obsession, whether it's McQueen or not. Kinda ruined it for me unfortunately.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:11 AM) :

I think someone asked previously if the scarf was mcqueen but no one confirmed, so I did. No clue on the pocket 'hanky' though sorry.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:37 PM) :

Yeah Belinda. I can see how seeing a skull motif can really put a crimp in one's day! :D

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:20 AM) :

Loving the Alexander McQueen skull scarf. Overall look looks comfortable and sleek. Well done.

the way the chain is draped across him is perfect.
