The first glance look is GREAT...and that's all most folks will do in public.

I'd of switched the slingbacks to regular MaryJanes, kicked the habit and loosened my belt a bit.

Overall, the glove/scarf combo makes this outfit so nice. The purse is sweet, too (Lightbulb...) Indeed, it's all about the accessories with this outfit, isn't it?

I love the heels! They make the silhouette more interesting.

Those are awfully high heels for the library. Goodness, she must have a hard time organizing the stacks on the ladder...

I love this outfit. This outfit is an example of a young women looking sexy without showing to much skin( as you metioned a few days ago) .

Thats a great suit. But what about the heels? They're gorgeous.

I love this girl.

it's kind of shocking when you look at her face (a bit janis joplin) and realize that she's not young. the outfit - there is nothing particularly youthful about it, playful though, with the gloves, perhaps that's why we attribute it to youth - made me think she was younger than she was. good for her! interesting contrast to Renata (i remember your first post about her, how if nothing else she has an authoritative stare /air of confidence that made her remarkable, something to that effect).

The flare to the coat is nice too--it's kicky with such a neutral palette.

Love the look as well..the gloves are fab. Color me nellie negative but couldn't we do something with her hair? Perhaps it was just a bad day for hair but a great day for gloves...

I have got this coat too. It's Mui Mui A/W 06/7 and I'm a librarian!
The coat is wraparound like a dress with the tie forming a bow at the back, but I like the way she's wearing it here.
I'm glad I have seen this picture of her looking great in it,as I was in two minds about it.

The gloves are robin's egg blue to it!

I love the look of the thick tights. Where can you get them? Everywhere i look just has the normal opaque kind...
