On The Street.....3/4 Sleeve Princess, New York

I'm a complete sucker for a 3/4 sleeve. Whether it is done as "straight-up princess" like this or even when is is vintage and layered over a hoodie.

I tend to agree with you but only on women of course.

I am in awe of how many of your female subjects have such great posture.

I like this look. Very classy and elegant. Her hair is fantastic.

Woow, woow, woooow! Stylistically pure. And that smile - i love it!

Love this. This is a lightweight coat, no? I have coat envy. *Sigh*

This is a great look. Understated. The hair not too styled.

As if I didn't have enough reasons to like like the 3/4-sleeve too! Nice pic!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:30 PM) :

i love three quarter sleeves. they are so elegant.

I agree whole-heartedly on the matter of the 3/4-length sleeve. It's such a wonderful, multi-seasonal length.

Beautiful coat.

I think those are actually "bracelet" sleeves, not "3/4." The three quarter sleeve stops at the elbow. The bracelet sleeve stops between the elbow and the wrist, no?

i also adore 3/4 and just about everything about this woman. her hair, her sunglasses, her coat, her tights, her clean style, her easy smile. something about her is just so right.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:36 PM) :

I totally agree!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:41 AM) :

This looks great - it adds an unsual touch - the slicked hair looks great too!
I also love 3/4 sleeves on fitted summer suit jackets

I couldn't agree with you more! The coat is very chic.

Interesting, I've never heard the term "bracelet" sleeve before.

Classy! Love it:)

So adorable...when are you coming to Cincinnati? All the well dressed people go to like three places downtown, so you would get done quickly.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:23 PM) :

I love her hair and the sunglasses!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:12 AM) :

c'mon, no one's gonna say anything disparaging about the leggings!? ;-)

yay for casually-worn curly hair. she's so elegant yet not stiff-looking. re: the sleeve length, i think the sartorialist's right on this one - bracelet length is i think just a bit longer than what this woman is wearing.
