Attractive young lady; frumpy shapeless attire. What's with the smock over the jeans?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:32 AM) :

Oh, no.
WHY?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:44 AM) :

Like most of the women pictured here, no matter how bad her clothes are, she is still going to look great.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:12 PM) :

why is that everyone is always smoking a cigarette?!?

Blogger Viktor Öland said ... (3:17 PM) :

once again a smoking cigarette...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:55 PM) :

Uh, people do smoke, and most smokers smoke outside, so when you take photos of people outdoors..

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:15 PM) :

I like the smock over pants. Somewhat early sixties looking to me. Best on young ladies.

You guys, the Sartorialist shows people doing what they do. And so don't worry about the cigarettes. I would like to talk to all of these people.

Nice colors.

Being the sustainable stylist, I only worry about the cigarette butts. There is something about that whole I just kind of rolled out of bed and threw this together look, but I've never been a fan of dress over jeans. Maybe a long shirt, but this looks like a dress. Maybe dress or tunic over leggings or tights okay, but I think she'd be better off without it here. Just an opinion, as I champion personal style, which invariably is going to include a miss from time to time. I'd rather see someone experiment than stay safe and try to look like everyone else.

So, yes, it does seem a lot of beauties get captured here. Can't you find any dreadful and dull stylish people?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:36 AM) :

Umm... who wants pictures of ugly people? This girl looks fabulous! I want more like this.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:49 AM) :

great outfit.

Fifty, I love this quote of yours. I agree completely:

"I champion personal style, which invariably is going to include a miss from time to time. I'd rather see someone experiment than stay safe and try to look like everyone else."

Well said.

Regarding the composition of the picture:
I think it's funny to see this sweet very covered up lady in front of the manequin (sp?)wearing ...what?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:03 AM) :

This girls GLOWS! Maybe The Body Shop has something to do with her great skin.
Aside from the night frock doubling as a shirt here, this look works.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:14 PM) :

This seems like a very honest ensemble. Looks great from head to--er--mid shin

I dress like this. Without the cigarette.
