Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:44 PM) :

This would be so Portland, Oregon, but her pants and boots are too cool. She looks awesome!

Blogger Maggie said ... (6:45 PM) :

her glasses are the best! i LOVE it when girls wear glasses in a cool, nonchalant-chic way.

This girl writes a blog

http://tummiesandtutus.blogspot.com/

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:55 PM) :

Does anyone know who made these shoes?

Blogger indigo warrior said ... (11:26 PM) :

Wow! Do you think the coat came with those buttons or she doctored it? They do match the lining. This girl could have been photographed here in Austin too. What an accessible look. The color is really popping.

And the plaids made by the trees and buildings work with the plaid in her coat.

Blogger jordanlines said ... (12:16 AM) :

the coat comes with the red buttons... its marc by marc jacobs from like 4 years ago. loves it!

Blogger Tessa said ... (3:43 AM) :

ahhhh, I have that coat and it's one my most prized pieces of all time! Its almost as if I've made it onto the sart. Gotta love MJ fall '03.

Blogger Chloe said ... (3:48 AM) :

I want to push her over (in a very non-violent way, I promise!) and steal those very awesome glasses off her face. Wow.

Anonymous suzanne nelson said ... (4:19 AM) :

Terrific - she's got everything spot on. Nice post!

Blogger JURIS..!!! said ... (4:53 AM) :

lot of big red button at her coat make it stunning

Anonymous kris said ... (7:03 AM) :

The buttons came with the coat, it's Marc Jacobs about, ooh 6 years ago now? I have the same one.

Anonymous kaaaaaaaa said ... (7:34 AM) :

She looks gorgous. Love the coat..great buttons...

Anonymous Esmoquin room said ... (7:40 AM) :

The picture it's great. The coat it's beautiful, butg I think I don't like too much the shoes.

Best,
Jose

Blogger Unknown said ... (8:24 AM) :

I feel alone in this, but I greatly dislike this outfit. I think the shoes are awful, and the pants are just too short. And call me old fashioned, but a navy jacket with an all black ensemble? No.... Sorry guys, I think she has some good eclectic flair, but this is not fashion.

Blogger Unknown said ... (9:07 AM) :

love her shoes..!! and her glasses are cool.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:10 AM) :

LOVE it! slim pant, wedges, red buttons, plaid, glasses. great style. and great shot, too. yellow seals the deal!

Blogger david santos said ... (11:27 AM) :

Really great work! Nice Style and nice creations. Good inspiration! Happy day!

Blogger Ruhvana and Flanelli said ... (12:12 PM) :

A very interesting outfit, i love it! it suits her so well, and those red buttons cheer up the whole outfit.

Blogger Joy Mars said ... (2:41 PM) :

A smart, casual New York look.

The bright buttons and lining on the coat say "Spring!" in a fun way. A classic.

The pant leg is cut shorter than previous seasons, which makes whatever shoe choice really important.

LOVE the shoes. They look comfortable and chic. Whenever there's a NYC pic with someone wearing impractical shoes, I cringe -- having lived in that urban hiking environment.

I could see me wearing all of this easily and enjoying it.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:34 PM) :

love the glimpse of red lining on the coat...

Blogger kellywinonaoxford said ... (5:03 PM) :

LOVE!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:09 PM) :

Loving this!!

I SWEAR that coat is Topshop...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:25 PM) :

Fabulous pic of New York..great fashion shot.....her whole look is just wonderful.....so much style and your signature on this..... thanks'......

Blogger Bookworm said ... (6:45 PM) :

Love the coat, not so fond of the rest of the outfit (but the glasses rock!)

Blogger LRB said ... (7:10 PM) :

Who doesn't love those red buttons?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:54 PM) :

those clunky boots, and nutty jacket. very San Francisco in the 90s.
not bad, not good, just stating.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:00 PM) :

this is indicative of personal style (not one I condone) and not fashion. in this case, good for her!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:02 AM) :

Nice coat as isolated piece and the glasses are gorgeous, but the pants really look too short and the shoes look like corrective ones.

Blogger Amra said ... (3:05 AM) :

One can only wish one had a coat like that. And those ankle boots.....huh, they're so beautiful!

Blogger Betty Blackbent said ... (3:46 AM) :

I love a world where a 4" wedge is "a practical shoe"!

She reminds me of the young Melina Mercouri.

Anonymous Samantha said ... (4:53 AM) :

Awesome. Love the checks!

Blogger Jack Daniel said ... (5:55 AM) :

She's wearing a very nice coat.

Anonymous Amelia said ... (7:05 AM) :

The coat is pretty ordinary but the red buttons give it some much needed style.

Blogger Nikki said ... (9:08 AM) :

i don't know if it's the shoes or glasses or plaid or a combination, but this shot brings me back to the nirvana/early-90s days...

she hit it - not everyone can pull off the pastiche.

Anonymous Jennifer said ... (10:32 AM) :

This just screams Pacific Northwest to me. Nice and sensible.

Anonymous Jeanne said ... (10:39 AM) :

Love love love the red buttons. Should try that as well, I have a coat just like this one...
Great shot!

Anonymous Fashion Man said ... (8:53 PM) :

very nice coat with lovely red button! I love it.

Anonymous Samantha said ... (9:28 PM) :

The coat reminds me of some pieces in a Sass and Bide collection from 07. Cute girl, love the glasses.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:32 AM) :

where can you find the shoes?
NIIIIIICE!!!

Anonymous produse slabit said ... (7:32 AM) :

That's beautiful and delicate.

Still, I suspect that a big part of the good feel associated with the image comes from... the yellow cab!

Another strong point it seem to be the glasses, superb, retro and mouth watering geeky :)

Anonymous Jannemieke said ... (7:37 AM) :

Adore the jacket and glasses, but am not keen on the rest of the outfit..

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:06 AM) :

I like the coat but I don't like the shoes. I hate the style of the heel. I guess everyone else likes the shoes but everyone likes everything that is posted on this page. He could post a picture of a homeless dude and people would rave about how much they like the holes in his shoes.

Anonymous Two Hungry Girls said ... (2:37 PM) :

Cute coat.

Blogger Karen and Shari said ... (2:46 PM) :
